Hotel 49

Hotel 49 is in the close proximity of Golden Temple - 2 Kms. The rickshaw/auto rickshaw would take Rs.30/for one way to the temple. However, around 15 KMS from Airport. Uber/OLA would be anything from 380-480 depending upon the peak. Hotel is NOT so off from the main highway, say 150 mts. Once you enter this lane one will not be able to ignore Hotel 49, has good amount of signage. Staff is wonderful, especially Rakesh and Raja. Rakesh gone out of his way to suggest what is good for me in terms of stay, site seeing and food. Mush appreciated. Bathroom is clean and tidy. Hotel seems to be a newly property. Still you will find smell of new furniture. Towels were ok and pillows as well. Bed linen was NOT found as fresh it supposed to me. This is just my opinion. Fixtures like, telephone, water jug, remote were little dusty including tea table. Room is just fine for one (1), may be for two (2). Value for money in that area. I spent around INR ...night, seems value for money :) Food I didnt try, I looked at their Menu for pricing, seems a little expensive for that kind of hotel. Lift is functional, stairs are also broad if someone wants to try. Reception is little norrow for One person to pass. As Hotel 49 is value for money, I suggest not to expect early check-in, may be after 10 AM if possible. Do not rely on this as I have seen at least 3 families waiting for early check in hot season, like June. I rented an i10 for my Wagah Border for ..., however, I shared with an other family as I felt this is expensive. I must say the Car guy - Mr. Sharma was too good to interact with high value system towards family and friends.

Hotel 49 is situated in Golden Avenue area of Amritsar which is close to both Golden Temple and Railway station. Hotel 49 looks good from outside and even better inside. There is ample space for parking here as the road in the front is quite wide. Our checkin was super smooth and in no time we were offered a bottle of cold water. Rooms are clean and linen is washed well. Bathrooms are spacious and kept clean and fragranced. There is a geyser in the bathroom that works very quick. Wifi signals were good enough to keep us working from hotel. Breakfast was the USP of all the amenities, we ordered poha and maggi with 2 teas and it came so well prepared in the room service that it made our day. The staff here is very helpful, we came back from Golden temple late at 2 am still they opened the main door and gave us a bottle of water. Hotel 49 is in a quiter area so you can expect a sound sleep. There are eateries at a walking distance and you may get all sort of conveyance right infront of Hotel 49 or a barely 200mtrs to the crossroads to go shopping or visit places. I would strongly recommend solo, couple and family travellers to choose this hotel for their Amritsar trip to avail hassle free experience. Hotel 49 is a fantastic hotel. Unbeatable service , very nice staff and a superb room makes it a must stay. There was not a single time I felt something is missing. The staff will brief you what's available. They also give a lot of suggestions on trips and itenarary . They told me to take E rickshaw to Golden temple and arranged for taxi to Wagah border . He quickly understood our budget and got a great deal. The food is good however you cannot expect the quality and taste at a Bharawan da Dhaba or the ones near Golden temple. There is an interesting story why Hotel 49 is called Hotel 49 and you might ask the Owner or the management. Overall I recommend this Hotel very highly. I booked this through some great reviews in ****** and I rate this higher than the average of 4.2 Time taken to Golden temple / Jallianwala Bagh - 5- 10 min in auto ... it's a smooth and quick drive . Auto is available right outside hotel Time to Wagah - 45 min ... since Hotel 49 is on the other side of highway so you will never get stuck in Traffic . Time to station - 10 min max Airport - 45 min..........

This is very good hotel, detail king size bed very good with excellent mattress,room size good for 2 adults and a child, Bathroom is perfect size 8*5 feet approx. 32 inch LED TV is in running condition with almost all popular channels of every indian languages were present. Location is good, it's depends on person to person,less crowded, 4 to 5 grocery shops and dhabas are there, among them k-one dhaba is good. one chicken and fish shop is also there within 200 metres of Hotel 49. All the four managers I met were very good in behaviour, well behaved and soft spoken, room service were very good. Bathroom has Jaquar geyser which make quick hot water. I stayed 5 days there, no problem faced. My only suggestion is to put a door mat in front bathroom. Blanket and pillows were also of good quality. My only suggestion to boarder kindly do the room clean and house keeping during your presence in the room, that would better for you all.

The property is good in looks and as per location in city. This place is safe for guests and free parking is sufficient at main entrance. Size of rooms and bed is good. The food is served inside your room as per your order and need on requested time. The taste of food as well as the quantity in serving is good enough. The only thing that must be noticed by team there is, housekeeping department. They must be more active as floor of room somewhere is having hair bunch etc. As towels are white, hence must be stain free. Toilets are sanitation is well managed. Cooling, TV facility, wi- fi inside room is good. Provided tariff is reasonable and competitive as per local market. Thanks to Goibibo for a good deal. The local guidance and paid car facility was also available with hotel. One room has some insects inside the side table glass (below the telephone) , which bite my child in legs. However, in other ways good for family stay.

We booked two deluxe rooms for 4 adults for 2 nights. Before our arrival, Rakesh ji and Aman promptly replied to all my queries and concerns. Here is my review of Hotel 49 - Hotel 49 is newly built (or renovated), and hence it is very neat and clean. The rooms are spacious, equipped with best in class amenities (like Lloyd split AC, Lloyd LED, jaguar fittings and Geyser, etc.) The food is sumptuous and the service is prompt. Parking is available for 10-12 cars and I didn’t find any problem in parking my SUV. Hotel 49 is easily located, and is situated close to Town Hall, Golden Temple and Jalianwala Bagh. The rickshaw took 10-15 minutes from hotel to Town Hall. Lawrence road (Novelty Sweets) is around 2 kms. Hotel 49 is Pet Friendly (we had 4 birds with us). Rakesh ji and Aman are very friendly. And it is such an affordableu hotel! I will recommend it to all!! And I will definitely stay here next time.

this was a really pleasant stay. we checked into Hotel 49 late at midnight at around 2 am and the receptionist was still awake, diligently performing his work. he nicely handed us over our key. the room was really pretty too, properly cleaned. no complaints. we only had booked the room for overnight stay so can't comment on the food, although it was a bit expensive. one more thing, our room probably had this issue, but the water flow from the taps was really slow. cause we were staying for only some hours, we didn't bother complaining. However, they have this practice of sending someone to your room to check, idk maybe for any damages or if you are stealing something, which I'd say I didn't like much. Maybe they have had such thing happen before, but overall, I'd say Hotel 49 stay was really wonderful.

This was my second stay at Hotel 49, one of the best hotels in terms of location, hospitality, room service, parking space,attitude of the staff, and ofcourse economical. Although there r few more hotels on Jaura Phatak road, but I never thought of them as Hotel 49 is my first option. The food served in room is too delicious. Although majority of items r priced bit higher whose price should be bit curtailed. AC works fine and provide ample cooling. The persons on manager seat are too cool and helpful. The room service staff is too polite. This is the best hotel in terms of budget and facilities. They offer taxi service on rent if u don't have ur known vehicle. U can book ur food from Swiggy, Zomato etc. I thank to the entire staff of Hotel 49 for such a comfortable stay. Will visit again soon.

I visited on 17/06/2023, from Delhi to Amritsar, The train was delayed by 9 hours, and Hotel 49 called me to see what time I would be there, this was really appreciated 👍.Now what i found i will write below.Hotel 49 was near the railway station, near all attractions.I booked two rooms for 5 adults and they allotted me one family suite room which has two separate rooms. and one single room. i was really impressed by this.The room was in good size with every room have attached washroom. I will give more then 5 star for cleanness/hygiene.Hotel 49 have their own parking, i just stayed only for 7 houe as i riches late due to late train but, it was all good.Thank You So much. Hotel 49.Specious Room.Cleanness.Near to All attraction And No Traffic pollution.

Value for money as the room costed me below rs *** Clean rooms... Around 1.5-2kms from Golden temple... It a bit noisy at times as some construction/drilling work was going on.. I am sure it was temporary but hotel should have some policy to stop work before evening, some guests were also very noisy... Food menu was overpriced.. If hotel staff reading this please modify your menu.. Every nonveg dish for rs 290 has no logic.. Also some of the veg dishes are also expensive.. It's a budget hotel you can't have such high prices.. I ordered same dishes outside in proper restaurant for lesser price.. Have a reasonable menu so you can have better sale for restaurant too.. Other than that cooperative staff, newly constructed hotel.. Good for the price.

Was taken by surprise. Hotel 49 is ideally located about 2 kms from Golden Temple in a relatively quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of the market area. Hotel was only commissioned last May. The decor was very tasteful and excellent. Rooms are sufficiently large with good clean linen and surprisingly a fairly large size tv with all channels which one does not find in many such hotels. Staff was very curteous and their service was excellent. Food quality and quantity was very good. Interacted with the owner and found him down to earth and very respectful Hotel 49 is being expanded. Highly recommended for visitors to the Golden Temple as availability of transport to and fro easily is met

WE HAVE REACHED AMRITSAR AT 8 a.m. (though check in time is 12p.m.) AND REQUESTED TO FRONT DESK FOR EARLY CHECKIN , THEY ARE SO POLITE AND HELP FULL IMMEDIATELY BY 9.00 A.M. THEY HAVE ARRANGED TWO ROOMS FOR OUR CHECKIN AND THE NEXT DATE AT 12P.M. AFTER CHECKOUT WE REQUEST FOR REFRESH AT EVENING (our train for onward journey at 6.30 p.m.), THEY PROVIDE US A ROOM FOR OUR REFRESHING AT EVENING. Hotel 49 IS VERY NEAT, CLEAN AND VERY SITUATED IN GOOD PLACES, VERY NEAR TO GOLDEN TEMPLE AND CLOSE TO G.T. ROAD. WE HAVE VISITED LOTS OF PLACES IN INDIA AS TOURIS, IT IS ONE OF THE BEST HOTEL TO STAY IN HOTEL 49 UNDER BUDGET PRICE.

Nice hotel, I had nice stay here. rooms are little small here but comfortable one. room service is prompt, Golden temple is approx 2.5 km from here, battery operated or cycle auto are available very easily on this road so its very convenient. however on day I landed and checked in, there was horrific rain in month of Sept 2018 (in all news) which caused heavy water logging on road in font of hotel and it was very difficult to commute, also did not get lot of help from reception, however I could manage some how and also this kind of situation is exceptional. so its ok I world say over all.

Nice hotel to stay. very clean room and bathroom. All basic amenities provided except Kettle. felt comfortable. room service is quite good. Their food is also tasty but quantity is too much. They can reduce the quantity and price according to quantity. Only drawback is no other restaurants nearby but autos available infront of hotel to reach any place. They arranged Wagh Border tour (1300₹). Auto charges also nominal. we reached hotel an hour early. but the staff was very friendly and allowed us to check-in early. overall a good stay

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel 49, Amritsar. Hotel 49 is situated in a good location with enough space for parking of 6 to 7 cars. Rooms are neat and tidy and spacious. All rooms are well equipped with windows. Bathrooms are well maintained. Amenities were ok. Staff and service are brilliant. I recommend hotel management to ensure a presence of an electric cattle and a mini fridge in the room as these are basic amenities. Management should think about it. Overall my stay was enjoyable and I strongly recommend this hotel for families.

This hotel is just amazing as far as the customer satisfaction. I asked them for early check in before the check in because I had to reach Amristar around 7 in the morning so they said if the room is available we’ll do early check in and no problem with that. I made my booking and reached hotel around 6.30 AM and they kept their word and gave me the early check in option with no extra payment. It was a pleasant stay with them. And Hotel 49 quality and maintenance is way above expectation. Many thanks for the hospitality! 🙏🏽

Very nice hotel ,15 min from golden temple & Jallian wale Bagh,. 10 rs by auto rickshaw sharing and 40 rs if auto rickshaw non sharing, easily available all time, very nice location ,clean and calm place ,food menu available at hotel or outside hotel also, 50 rs ride from railway station by auto rickshaw it takes hardly 15 min. Nice crew @ hotel ,nice rooms@ hotel ,good AC ,check in/check out timings are @ 12pm to 12pm even if it shows different on your booking. Overall nice sleep and nice stay @ this hotel.

Definitely 1 of the best deals in Amritsar, specially if you are travelling by road. They have enough parking available. Moreover, it is located in residential area which is very calm and a very safe area to stay with family. Hotel staff is very friendly on top of it. We stayed in Suite Room and it was one of the most comfortable stay in Amritsar with Hotel staff helping us in giving directions for our commute too while we were not at all bothered about our car which was parked just outside their premises.

Bright, clean, comfortable, modern rooms. Large menu with very tasty food. Room service is efficient. Friendly and well trained staff. Staff at reception speak excellent English and are always friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed.They took the time to answer all of our questions and explained many things to us. Booked taxi to border closing for us and will book a driver if needed. Good location, only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to Golden Temple. Very good value for the price.

Excellent, Awesome, Outstanding. This is our 4th time visit at hotel 49. Everything is more than the best .Specially Food. Fully value for money. The Quantity, Quality everything is unbeleivably excellent. AC, TV, Gyser all are in working conditions. On the top of that, all stuffs are extremely hospitable, mildfully supportive and caring. all other services are very fast and errorless. Thankssssssss a lottttttttt for everything.
