Annai Residence

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days and overall it was quite a nice experience. Annai Residence people are less bothered about the people booking over online and staying there...means the process is smooth and we need not to ask or get any help from anyone as because everything is quite good and readily available. Pros: Location is quite good and accessible to all the required facilities, like restaurants, transports, shops etc. Hotel atmosphere is good and quite. Hotel restaurant food quality is also good but bit expensive. Hotel boys and reception were polite. Complimentary breakfast and water was quite good and varieties were available for the breakfast. Cons: Some of the appliances in the room was not working properly, like the ceiling fan used to give so much of noise. The AC blade swing function was not working and the temperature was made fixed hence we did not operate AC as it was winter when we visited and also the swing was not working at all. So had to bear the noise of the ceiling fan which is bit annoying over the nighttime.

It was a good experience overall. Rooms were really big and with good amenities. Since Annai Residence was at the prime location, there was a lot of options for food as all eateries were nearby. The rock beach was just walkable distance from Annai Residence. There are few negatives as well (refer the cons below) , hoping Annai Residence management will correct those. Otherwise its a good stay pros: - huge room(royal suite) - prime location - decent staffs. cons: - The bathroom had bathtub which had no pipes to fill the water - Water leaking from toilet faucet - TV audio was not working - The rooms were not very much clean enough we got complete privacy and didn't find any disturbances.

Annai Residence is good. Rooms are quite spacious. Parking facility is good and Annai Residence is easily accessible. The reception staffs are friendly. Even though the bathrooms were clean, I felt that they were quite old(flush was a bit hard to operate especially for elderly people). Hot water was available through out the day. Also, I felt that the other helping staff will stick around until you give them some tip.. All in all, if it's a good place to stay if it's a short trip and if the plan is to see around the place. Spacious and clean rooms, distance to white town and rock beach is quite less (2 KMS approx). Area is quite safe as well.

The stay was very comfortable and convenient. Although we arrived a little early and were looking for early checkin. The reception guy was so adamant to pay the early checkin charges at that instant itself. I didn't like his behavior in that regard. He could have charged at the time of checkout. We got the early checkin rooms in 15 mins as some cleaning had to be done. We were a group of 9 members and we booked 4 rooms. They gave us an extra bed. Although we had to call them and ask for extra bedsheet and blanket and pillow. But service was quick. They responded within minutes of call. Staff was friendly and hence I give a 5 star.

felt like staying in my home! the best hotel u could see in pondicherry. you will have a wonderful stay experience because of the staffs. the management is the best team with an extra ordinary human being as a manager named Dinesh. he will treat u as a family member. you will go repeatedly to this place after ur first stay. Regarding the food, they have buffet breakfast with vast dishes. completely home food and acceptable price. rooms are damn clean with hygienic restrooms. overall a satisfied perfect stay for family and couples. safety and privacy

Booked AC Deluxe room. Worth for money in hot of city centre which is easy accessible to nearby visiting places. Took a bike for rental at nearby shop and covered important places. Breakfast was good & tasty but less menu's. We expected electric kettle in room. But that was not available. But mini fridge was available but no use for us. Hotel is old but good and the location is very convenient, we styed in a suit for 3, it was spacious, staff and reception guys were very nice and helpful, we had only breakfast it was good. Worth for money, 1.2 km from beach and very near to white town.. u get auto standing outside of hotel always.. Overall 5 star for this place and 5.5 for goibibo for keep on updating my booking even they sent messages 2 times before free cancellation window was getting over.. I became fan of goibibo... 👍🏻

Room was spacious , early check in also available with low cost , staffs are very flexible way of behavior is friendly, location is very close to sight seeing place especially aurobindo ashram and rock beach, if you are pure vegetarian lover , you can get the food from room service , overall the stay was awesome , i got attractive deal for this room on weekend.Thanks for goibibo team for suggesting this hotel to us for a pleasant weekend.

The only thing in Annai Residence that i don't like was the cleanliness, which was not at all up to the mark...not only the rooms but also the reception area and most of the areas of Annai Residence was not clean enough... Location wise its all good, very conveniently approachable...and all the facilities that they were giving were quite decent...staff was well cooperative and served me very delicious food...so overall its good enough..

location of hotel is very impressive, also hotel is having parking facility which is quite good enough as compared to other hotels, it is inside the city, we can say heart of the city also each tourist place is nearby from there.. service is also best.. Totally value for money.. sometimes more better than it cost. True value of your money and annai residence will full fill it on each point.. perfect to stay Pondicherry.

Hotel Annai Residence is a decent place to stay. Good location. Easy and trouble-free check-in / check-out. Staff are very polite and cordial. Good customer service. Rooms are spacious, neat & clean. Lift, mini fridge, A/c, all are fine. Only Vegetarian restaurant in hotel. Quality of food is to be improved. Car parking is available in the basement, but the ramp is very steep. Comfortable stay for family. Worth the price.

Room was pretty spacious, clean and well furnished. Unfortunately the dark wall paint makes the interior look dull and the not so sufficient lights make it even darker. Would request to work on that matter. Very limited space in the parking lot. Would recommend people to inform Annai Residenceier prior you book your stay. Online food delivery (direct doorstep delivery) is allowed.

It was a pleasant stay at Hotel Annai Residence, Pondicherry. The room is spacious and the stay is comfortable. The toilet is clean. The highlight of Annai Residence is its restaurant. The food is so good and the service is courteous. Also the staff at the reception is friendly and helpful. There is a car parking space at the underground where there can be around some 10 cars parked.

i stayed from 11-14 Sep 19. the place is good. I checked in at 1700 hrs and got 304 but the A/c was not working. informed the reception. A person was sent to check and confirmed the defect and immediately they changed my room. And the room service was good. Its a good safe place to stay in the heart of Pondi. Everything is available near by. i enjoyed my stay.

Good hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms. Nice staff as well. Breakfast is also decent. But dont expect early check-in if required. They will not give you rooms even if they have and charge extra for early check-in. I was doing checkout at 7pm in the evening but then also they charged extra for check-in early at 8.30 am. Good rooms and clean bathrooms.

Annai Residence was good. value for money. Hotel staff was worse. money minded always. despite of giving 100rs at the time of check-in. they came 3 to 4 times to ask for some money. and at the time of check-out they literally forced us to give them some more money. We requested for a room clean after the room cleaning also they demanded 50rs...

It was really a great experience, njoyed the stey, hotel location is the bestest ever... Reception staff and other service staff behavior is really nice n appreciated... very prompt check-in, very fast service of any requirements n room decorations was just ok but it's really large n well furnished!!! Recommend everyone for all tym!!!

Amenities at this hotel are good; the only drawback is that it is filled with cigarette smell most of the time. The furnishing is good with mini refrigerator, air conditioning and television set. Bathroom closet is certified has sanitized with a seal. Good room service with signature taken on receipt after serving. cigarette smell.

Excellent budget hotel. Staffs are extremely friendly, considerate. The location is great, as it's just a km from Bus stand and twice a km from Rock beach and white town. Annai Residence also provided a fridge where you can keep your drinks cool. Also it's in the market area, so everything you need is available nearby.

Went with my wife. Room was decent and clean. Staff were friendly and even helped us by suggesting places to visit, food was also good,they have room service.. Most importantly they let us do early check-in at 5 am in the morning for 500 rs extra which other hoteliers usually don't allow.. A good budget friendly stay!
