I stayed two nights here in DOUBLE DELUXE SEA FACING ROOM WITH BREAKFAST and checked out today. I am sharing you the pros n cons: PROS a. location-wise, perfect. a little away from the hustle bustle of Swargdwar beach, the beach in front of Balaji International is quiet and so perfect for someone who like peace. the beach is clean also. For evening hangout at Swargadwar beach, auto fare is Rs. 60-100. b. Sea facing room, perfect. gives a clear view of the sea. c. Staff behaviour, perfect. polite and guest-friendly d. Food, Good. Tasty food. But, I ordered Biryani which Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) parceled from another restaurant. It was a good Biryani, but the chicken pieces were not good. We also ordered coffee in the evening. The coffee was not properly made. Rest, good. e. Private beach, good. Hotel provide free chair in the beach. f. Cleanliness, perfect. g. Breakfast, good. Buffet system. Day 1: Juice, Break+Jam+Butter, Cornflakes, Idli ( fantastic), Poha, Sabji+Puri, tea+coffee, fruits (Water melon n papaya). Day 2: Juice, Bread+butter+jam, Cornflakes, idli, Uttapam, Chhole bature, tea coffee, fruits h. Complementary: soap+shampoo, 1 water bottle, tea+coffee maker. CONS a. Their checkout time is 7 am. So you have to wake up early. Oppressive for a late riser. But we checkout at 8 am. b. Non veg not served. My Biryani and coffee story already given. Final: the cons can be ignored. overall, it's a good hotel and recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful ambience in Puri beach.

Nice and pleasant Stay. little away from crowded area 1.5Km from Swargdwar Beach By Auto Rs.100. Temple 3KMs By Auto Rs. 250 to and fro. Staff is courteous and well behaved. All in Good Uniform as per premium hotel. one should always book with complimentary Breakfast. Breakfast is awesome and one can survive whole day after having Complementary Breakfast. if Booked without Breakfast charges would be Rs. 200/- per member. Receptionist is very soft and well behaved. House Keeping Staff is also up to the mark. Pool operation could have been maintained little more nicely. Spa is also nice and pleasant. Food Taste and quantity in room service is competitively Nice compared to other Street food. A' La Carte is quite expensive as compared to beach hawkers food. but quality does justice with the price.Very Important Non of the staff will ask for TIPs throughout the stay. Beach is 20 meters from Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels). From Railway Station Auto will Charge ₹200/- . Beds is having spring Mattress and quite hard to adjust with it.Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) is Next to NRS avoid Auto Charges Bike at ₹400 may be hired for 24 hrs and cutoff all Auto Expenses. Food Hygiene to be taken little bit extra care.overall its nice and Great Value to Money Stay.Rooms are Spacious and may be compared with Star Categories of room. Will again Visit .Thanks

Cheapest Genuine 4 star hotel I gotBooked this hotel for luxury staying experience and I cannot say I was disappointed.Pros:Beautiful spacious room. I booked superior seaside room but room wasn't exactly facing the sea. they said: Sir superior rooms are not facing sea but delux rooms are.Bathroom: Clean and good enough.Food (Lunch and dinner(Food is really good but expensive because they give more quantity. We ordered Biryani 4 plate but quantity was enough to feed 5.Breakfast is the best:I got complimentary breakfast at 100rs extra charge and breakfast was the best.It was a Buffet with only veg options.Really tasty breakfast with all kinds of options: milk, chocos, cornflakes, bread, butter, jam, poha, idli, puri sabzi, and fruit juice.(South Indian and North Indian foods)location: It is just over the beach and area is not at a crowdy. However, you will not get markets nearby and have to travel at 50-60rs per ride to market in autorickshaw.Garden and Swimming pool was a bonus. I didn't get time to explore it but it seemed like a good place to hang out.Overall it was a good experience and staff was good as well.Checkout was 7 am but they allowed us till 8:30 which was again helpful.Visited Jagannath temple and enjoyed sea beach.

i stayed in super deluxe sea facing room (218) . located on the new Marine drive but bit away from the crowded swargdwar beach area. right on the beach which is very clean and not at all crowded. hotel provided umbrella and chairs for the beach. also a life guard is positioned for the safety of the guest. the lobby has a beautiful depiction of lord Jagannath Temple. hotel provides very limited but very wholesome breakfast buffet included in the room tariff. daily different varieties of north Indian and South Indian choices are provided along with fresh fruits and cereals. i found the room slightly dull but was very comfortable. the room has a direct sea view with slide open windows. toilet/bathroom very kept clean. there is no ventilation window in the washroom but had a powerful exhaust. hot and cold water available. mini fridge was also made available. room service provided very good food veg/non veg both. the food is good both quality and quantity wise. there is a small swimming pool but no life gaurd available. hotel provides swimming wear on request. the best part about this hotel is their staff humble, polite, prompt and very courteous. overall my family and i had a comfortable stay.

Overall, I had a nice time with my family at this hotel. Here are the details which might jistify the review: PROS: ------ 1. The location of this hotel is just a feet away from the sea beach and the sea facing rooms have the best view. 2. The staff's behavior, especially the receptionist and restaurant guys is really great. 3. Value for money as its not that expensive and offer great amneties which the low price doesnt justify. 4. Room service and other services are very good. CONS: ------ 1. Though the location is near to the sea, but, after 7 pm, the place becomes desolate and Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) itself bars going out after 10 pm. 2. Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) should take up initiatives to lighten up the beach near it for the guests. simple initiatives like putting up few chairs at the beach in the evening. This will earn them more popularity and make the place more lively. I have noticed Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) bring all its chairs just after it gets 5 pm. 3. The restaurant should add up more varieties in the non veg category and the complimentary breakfast category.

I had a stay with my family for 4 days. The overall experience is good and is recommended for travelers who prefer a peaceful stay. Location-wise this property is bit far from crowded sea beach, but u can enjoy the private sea-beach during ur stay at this hotel. The lift was never working, only to be mentioned that the same is under maintenance. Food served by the veg. restaurant is tasty, but all the items in the menu may not be available. The pool is a bit small, but nice and clean and the jacuzzi was not working during our stay for all 4 days. Room service is good but has the scope of improvement. Only constraint must be pointed out : some rooms are being allotted to bachelors (don't not about Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) policy) who were actually not maintaining the calmness of Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) and enjoyment of the pool. They not only try to create nuisance but also refuse to listen to the lone attended of the swimming pool. Overall experience is that the property is good for people who travel with own vehicle and prefer peaceful stay away from crowded place and love veg. food.

It was an overall satisfying experience as all my previous visit. It was fourth visit to the same hotel. Staff were very courteous and we'll mannered. Only thing which I had seen negative about Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) is that in each of my visit the upkeep of Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) has deteriorated. Mirror inside the washroom has rust mark, outside the light hoarding light were fused, hotel looks very shabby from outside. Attendant near pool rarely present at the time I and other guest were inside the pool. Front desk, F&B and housekeeping were up to mark. Being from hotel industry these thing came to my knowledge. The owner or GM should see these things are placed. Berries group will prosper if these small things are taken into consideration. Over all nice and relaxing visit. Do recommend this hotel to visitor. Out of 5 I will rate this as 3.5. But please look into the point which I marked out. Will definitely visit again you guys. Bye and Take care Pravash Shaw

This was my second visit on 17/3/21 to 18/3/21 for 2 days to this hotel after a gap of 3 years with family. Even though Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) is little far away from Swargadwar but still I prefer to stay in this place. The place is not over crowded. I booked a side sea facing delux room and the room was nice. Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) has swimming pool, spa and a small lawn. It has a restaurant and it serves only veg food. The food was little horrid . It serves buffet breakfast , this time CB is not up to the mark and little disappointment in buffet breakfast, Even though it has limited option but taste was good & Staff of Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) was very private beach should be available because of near of sea beach, one thing a small tea or juice could be recommend and included at check out I would definitely prefer to stay here in my future visit to Puri. But there is a scope of improvement which management should take care of.

I have booked this hotel for the last 4 years maybe more. The best thing is its location, sea view room, and polite staff from security to reception to room service. veg complimentary breakfast it's not that bad except the quality of tea served is something which could be much better. The menu card is good enough and we liked the food. Now a couple of things which I observed is the maintenance of the room which needs immediate attention. I had a problem with a telephone set electric kettle and plug points. Though these were addressed immediately you don't want to keep following up with the same problems in every visit. This happened in my last 3 visits.the worst part of the last couple of visits is the smell in the rooms (deluxe sea view). Sometimes you feel sick when you check into the room. gradually with ac running things get, you won't be able to receive calls or make calls from the rooms I stayed service is satisfactory.

It is a lovely new property, well furnished rooms, great sea view from our room (while booking, you must specify that you want a sea view room), decent vegetarian food. Location is away from the crowded areas of beach and hence peaceful. However if you do not have own transport, moving around may be difficult due to little secluded location. Biggest problem is very very sluggish and not so responsive service (in restaurant, in room). General Manager has promised action on this front. Another major issue is absence of Wi-Fi in rooms. Even though brochure talks of Wi-Fi, we were told that the connection works (that too unreliable and painfully slow) only in the Lobby. Problem is further accentuated as the Airtel mobile signal does not reach rooms. Hence those who want to keep continuous touch with external world must keep away from this hotel.

Excellent location and just on the beach, if you like quiet peaceful location away from Swargodwar crowd. Always there is a life guard at the beach with some beach chair and umbrella. Swimming pool is clean and good, only thing they only allow swimming trunk. You may rent from them, but it is expensive and better to carry one. Food is excellent. Restaurant is veg only, but if you order non veg, you can order from your room. Complementary breakfast is also excellent. Rooms are very nice and recently renovated with modern furniture and fittings. We visited in April 2018. But beds are extra soft. Cleaning is reasonably good. There is no pick up drop facility from Hotel. Station to hotel is 15 minutes and charged 150 day time and 200 at night. Auto to swargodwar is 60 Rs and same with toto or cycle rikshaw.

Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) is faraway from Swargadwar. Though the place is lonely but Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) is situated bang opposite to the seabeach. If you take seafacing room then the front view is excellent provided you takw 1st and 2nd floor. The delux room is okay. The person at the reception was co-operative. Since we we were in a hurry to offer puja to Lord Jagannath he provided us the room before the schedule check-in time. The room was good and clean. The mini-freezer in the room was not working. As we inform the House-keeping desk, Mr Ramesh approached us from Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) side and resolve all our issues in no time. He was extremely courteous and helpful. As of now the stay is good & comfortable.

Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) is a nice place spend peaceful holidays away from overcrowded market areas of Puri. View of the sea is amazing from Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels). But there are many areas where improvements are required. Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) is having lack of staff. So at times it becomes difficult for them to cater to the needs of the boarders. But the behAviour of Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) personnel is really courteous enough. Food is good but a bit overpriced and it is purely vegetarian. Each room must be provided with a menu card. Intercom numbers of the reception, dining should be available in the room. Free WiFi is available but the speed is too slow.

    • Sneha Kar

Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) room service was very helpful, the room that we stayed in was also pretty clean. We stayed at the top floor in a superior sea side view room. Thus the side view of the sea was visible. However, room service was only there if you ask them to come and clean otherwise not. Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) was quite far from the town centre. Auto fares were 150 to reach the Puri beach market. Staff behaviour was also very cordial. Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) also has a travel agent, the fare charged was almost at par compared to other travel agents in Puri. The restaurant though pure vegetarian, it serves non veg in the room and the quality was also good.

    • Nikesh Aggarwal

Hotel is located next to puri beach which is very near and clean. They have private life guard at your service which enables you to enjoy beach till full sun set and early morning hours without any fear. Food quality is nice for dinner, breakfast was not good and lacked variety. Breakfast had puri bhaji and idli Sambhar with their juice jar always empty. overall good stay for price they offered and good dinner at their restaurant and room service. Just ensure you have some patience because hotel staff are not well trained and lack some courtesy but there are few members who do the damage control by their best behaviours. overall we were happy and suggest others to go there, rooms are clean and beach is just there.

    • Souvick Maitra

Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) is away from all crowd, location is very good, room also very clean and equipped with all modern amenities, view from room is really good, in previous review i have found 3 issues, which I have confirmed previously by calling them, according to booking condition they have to provide pickup from station but they previously request me to take auto from station and they will pay the bill , and they keep their promise, the guest elevator is not working but there are another elevator which is working fine , Foods are little bit expensive and all veg foods , However I have take only 1 breakfast from hotel which was ok in taste overall I am really happy with this hotel.

    • Manish Baranwal

we stayed there in front sea facing room for a single day. The property is more or less good and the staffs are polite and have good behaviour. Maintenance and house keeping is little above average but they do it on request. Size of back rooms is larger than front sea facing rooms. The food served in their Vatika restaurant is awesome and having fantastic taste. The location is around 2-3 km from the main market i.e. swargadwar and the beach in front of Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) is isolated and very less crowded. In the evening, loneliness prevails on the beach. U have to hire an auto for the market costing Rs 80. If one comes by his own vehicle, this is a good hotel.

    • Sivasudhan Gopalakrishnan

The place is at an excellent location, outside the city and right in front of the sea. They have also put up a tent and few chairs for the guests. There is also a life guard deployed by Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels). The place is also easily accessible by auto and taxi. Food quality is excellent. Many items in the menu like tandoori roti and naan are not available. Would suggest few chairs and an additional fan near balcony for side sea facing rooms. The staff were polite and very courteous, always willing to help. Overall a nice place for vaction while visiting Puri. And at last the travel desk is very professional, but bit expensive compared to Ola.

    • Subhasis Basu

Overall it was a very nice experience.. Front sea view rooms have great view and has the required amenities.Though the wifi was not available most of the times which Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) should work on as mobile towers are very week in that place so guests will have to depend on hotel wifi..All the other services were good. The quality of food(both veg and non veg) deserves a special mention for both quality and quantity. Keep up the good work and try to work on the areas where you have opportunity to improve(like tv and ac remote should work well in all rooms). Courteous staff, hotel food, ambience, check in and check out flexibility.

    • Arjaita Das

It was a nice stay allover. Rooms are really good and spacious compared to price. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels) is a perfect package along with food, spa and swimming pool. The location is bit far from main market. It is 1 km away from Puri lighthouse. Though it's a veg hotel they serve non veg menu in room service. The only bad thing is the maintenance. Some ACs , room telephone are not working but they are giving quick service in fixing them no doubt. Hospitality is good at all. Pool is accessible. The beach is opposite to Balaji International (Berries Group of Hotels). Overall it's an awesome experience.
