goSTOPS Rishikesh Tapovan

I gave a 5 rating because it deserves more than 4.1. The dorms were clean. some dorms as mixed accomodation were little compact. Staffs were good and it has two cafe, one at ground floor and one at top. A good place for workstation. The wifi is of Airtel they claim it of Fibre optical but it's not. It is wireless, so wifi quality is not great. The. only issue, I found was they were closing common area after 12PM even on weekends. Even playing music and talking in garden area in night is not allowed. You can just sit. They have 2 big common area one on rooftop and another on ground floor. The staff sleeps in common area at night time which is not ok. Amritsar GoStop chatiwind gate was little better in terms of rules and freedom etc. Ofcourse , the prices vary a lot and it goes out of stock on weekend. Not to mention, the food is costly. It is like 800m from Laksham Jhula board Tapovan, which is well connected through public transport. you can reach to that point by telling Lakshman jhula drop. There are two GoStop in Rishikesh. I am talking about GoStop Tapovan. The location and freedom at GoStop laksham Jhula seems to be better.

This was my first ever solo women traveller and hostel experience. I Chose this property as it was rated highest and the stay was every bit worth it. The experience of staying in hostel with fellow solo travellers, staycationers and listening to their stories is so much fun. And you will never feel alone in a hostel. Gostops made my stay very comfortable. The amenities were good, bed was comfy, bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly and cooperative. The common room is like the cherry on cake. It has everything you can look out for entertainment and you can spend time eating, doing what you like and group activities. Food was prepared in the kitchen on terrace, fresh and tasty. Maybe a bit overpriced if u r looking to stay long but you can always cook yourself in their common kitchen. One negative point- Tapovan is slight far away from the Ganga ghats and the view from hostel is not really great. But the overall vibe makes it a must visit place! comfort and safety

GoStops is one of the best Hostel to stay in Rishikesh for Solo Travelers. The hostel stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. It's economical and a good place to be social among Solo Travelers and students. The staff were very polite and helpful. The dorms were clean and pretty. The bed's were really comfy. Bathrooms were clean and provides both hot & cold water. It provides free wi-fi and a plethora of indoor games and a common hanging spot at roof top with good music system and sitting area where one can chill out and relax. There is one canteen also. It has a beautiful lawn. The view from the hostel is very mesmerising and breathing. The Hostel is situated about 1 km away from lakshman Jhula and Bank of Ganga. It's best Hostel to stay. P.S.:- The Manager (Abhishek Bhaiya) was really a cool guy and was very friendly. It's economical and good place to socialize.

If you are in Rishikesh and want to stay in a homely atmosphere, this is a place to stay. This is my first time I stayed in a hostel, and I should say one of my best and memorable experience I ever had. Its better to stay here than any of goSTOPS Rishikesh Tapovan s. I came here for one day but because of the peace, amazing atmosphere and most importantly the hospitality of the owner and staff I extended my stay for 4 days. Not feeling like to leave but I am sure because of this place I will again coming here for sure. I came across many people who stayed here and had a blast with them, especially Jonty..😜. Manoj, Monika, Deep, Bharat, Ishan thank you for making our stay memorable. And thank to Abhi (owner) as well for being such a nice host. Love you guys👍

It's a beautiful stay if you are adventure lover and you love socializing because this place is heaven for traveller's. Not even traveller's but you can visit and take single room if you are visiting with family. Overall great experience and the best part is that check out time is 10:30 to 11am but I got late and checked out around 12 as I was traveling from last w days and reached there around 11pm at night and woke up late but they were very polite and didn't charge me extra. Very very friendly and polite staff. would love to visit this place everyone for refreshing myself. only small suggestion is that room was smelling a bit because of Damp (smell because of moisture in blanket and room). Meeting creative and adventurous people and interacting with them.

parking space was good and convenient, ac cooling was very bad, neat and clean hygienic 100%, led and refrigerator not included in the room, h&c special pizza in the cafe was super yummy camping, trekking, local sightseeing help desk was very nice, really helped me a lot . staff is co-operative cons - worst part is curtains are very light in weight and short due to which when fan is on WHICH YOU HAVE TO as ac cooling is not good, curtain flies in air and everything inside room is visible from outside the room in night, NO PRIVACY IN ROOM, EVEN I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE LOOKING INTO OUR ROOM FROM OUTSIDE AT NIGHT so very risky for girls and couples parking space was great, curtains are very bad, everything is visible from outside in evening only

i like my stay here - it's a good experience overall PROs 1)Rental bikes and activity booking can be done at gostops 2) Common sitting areas are in each floor 3)common area with games on top floor 4) 24/7 cafe on the ground floor 5) laundry available but bit costly (25 per nrml piece and 50 per heavy piece like jeans) 6) wifi is decent and can plan workation 7)price per 3 days would be almost similar to 7days price as duration of stay extends the price gradually decrease CONs 1) Early check-ins are little hassle 2) some rooms are cozy but manageable 3) strict following of no smoking/drinking in room should be followed and should be mentioned to people who taking room we faced people who drank/smoke in rooms

I wanted to give 5 stars, except that there are couple of things really to improve.. 1. Bathroom to be cleaned regularly, contains remains of previous boarders. 2. Water vending facility to be installed in every floor. It's a long way either to the top or to the bottom But the best points about it.. 1. Beds are very comfy and well maintained. No need of jacket inside the warm quilt blanket. 2. Facilities are good, the bonfire is awesome, man. Hammock in the sun makes you forget all your worries. 3. Enjoyed foosball and cold coffee at midnight. And some flattened out moments. Thanks for the great stay..

The Hostel is located in Yoga Street, Tapovan, Rishikesh. Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Janki Setu, Neergarh waterfall and other nearby attractions like Neelkanth Mahadev temple can be easily reached. Beds and toilets are clean, fan and charging sockets, geyser all were working fine. lockers are provided to keep your belongings safely. common area is good to hangout with other folks. ground floor has parking area and restaurant also along with a TT table. enjoyed my stay at the property for 2 nights. staff behaviour is also very cordial.Quite safe and well maintained property.

It was an awsome experience with goSTOPS Tapovan. It's a good hostel located at a kilometer's walk from Lakshman Jhula and goSTOPS color theme is cherry on cake. The rooms, toilets, cafeteria and common area was neat and clean. The staff is supportive and courteous. Advice for future travellers: 10 bed dorm is the best deal out here. Don't go for 6 bed dorms (unsure about 4 bed dorms) as they are pretty compact. You pay more and get less (smaller room size and more people per washroom). Overall, a pleasant stay and looking forward to visiting it again.

The location of the hostel is perfect. It is a walkable distance from Lakshman Jhula and there are plenty of cafes around it. You have the option of renting bikes, hiring vehicles etc right outside the hostel. The hostel is very pretty and comes with two common spaces, one on the terrace and one outside, in the courtyard. The only drawback is that the terrace closes at midnight, typical to a college hostel and the staff asks you to move to the courtyard. This was a problem for us as it started raining, forcing us to sit in the parking lot of the hostel.

Overall Experience was great.From check in to check out the span of Almost 48 hours was great. We get lot's of indoor games inside the cafeteria (like pool, Fuse bowl,carrom) And moreover the location of the hostel is before the hills so you can enjoy the view of hills from there. A must visit place if you are a solo travelers or planning to go with your friends. You even can cook your own food. Lots of amenities with very low price. Must visit place .❤️ The interaction with another groups and teh staff response to each queries.

Had an amazing stay at gostops. It's relatively cleaner than other hostels that i know of. My bathroom was superclean ( all that i care about). The staff is superfriendly and amazingly helpful in everyway. They have a Leisure area at the roof top which is superb cafe too. You can relax all day here , eat homely food , play games, watch movies and make new friends 😊 Good parking space and a beautiful garden with hammocks is an add on . Must stay here if you are a group of friends or travelling solo 👌🏽

I had one the of the best stay at Go stop Rishikesh. The staff is very supportive and caring. They make sure your stay at this hostel is comfortable and you take best memories from Rishikesh. Abhishek who is the owner is always there to help you out and he will also assist you in booking bungee jumping and river rafting slots. They have great set of Indoor activities. Also, on the top floor they have kitchen. Morning breakfast is good. Overall I would like to give 5/5 for making my stay me awesome.

Gostops Rishikesh is new and it is not fully functional yet but the staff is great. They are polite and well mannered. I had got great suggestions from Paritosh. The guy from gostops udaipur(I m unable to recall the name now sorry for that) is an excellent person and nanager. Monica had listened my suggestion very carefully. Overall, It's a nice home for backpackers.The pic attached is taken 2 days back. The dorms now have curtains as well. It's very comfortable and value for money hostel.

Overall the main staff was helpful and friendly. Like other goStops, the beds were comfy, with a privacy curtain but overran the rooms are small but a great working AC. You expect this when staying dorms. I especially liked the private ensuite bathroom for each dorm room. The only issue was cleanliness. The comforter bedspread was quite dirty and stained as well as the curtains for the bed. I also questioned if the pillow cases were changed as I did not see then changing them. :(

Everything about GoStay was so damn good. We really enjoyed our stay there♥️💯 Staff was good, food and ambience was amazing, you get lots a games to play when you're staying at GoStay so you'll never feel bored. They've got Foosball, Carrom, board games, Snooker/Pool and a lot more games. The only thing that I didn't like was the Private deluxe room bcoz our room was quite small and kind of suffocating. I guess we deserve a better and bigger room when we pay so much for it.

It was my first solo trip ! And the stay in goStops was amazing! Although the dormitory I stayed in was a bit congested but if we ignore it, then it was a great ambience there. Cleanliness ✔️ food ✔️ cafeteria ✔️ community room ✔️ and the people all were nice. Preferred for solo and group traveller, not preferred for family. Friendly Nature of staff and the hostellers at my tome were also nice and open minded. Made new friends and enjoyed with them. Will come again
