Very much satisfied with Hill Top Swiss Cottage service and its infrastructure. The staff with well behavior cooperate always. I was reached Hill Top Swiss Cottage at about 9:30 AM but the management was not shown any negativity in offering me the room even before the stipulated check-in time. I am impressive with their manner and behavior. The location of hotel is very much high almost at the top of a small hill, which is very exciting but little difficult for old aged people to reach there. At least some alternative arrangement for old people should be made there. Hill Top Swiss Cottage is very out side of main road where, frequent transportation are not available. Some arrangement for mini transportation arrangement should be made from Hotel management. Ramjhula is almost 1.1km by foot and 1.7km by car from this hotel. The famous Laxman Jhula is around 1.6km by foot and road from this hotel. Grand ceremony of the "Sandhya Aarti" of Ganga is also being arranged daily at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, Ramjhula located just 1.8km of walking distance and 11km by car (because the ashram is located just opposite bank of Ganges) from this hotel. After aarti, seating on the bank of Ganges is very much enjoyable, thereafter walking on the peaceful road upto Hill Top Swiss Cottage. A spa vendor is also available just behind Hill Top Swiss Cottage.

We had a lovely experience staying at this beautiful place in Rishikesh. It is a little away from the din-n-bustle of Lakshman jhula and provides a place to sit back and relax against the perfect backdrop of a majestic landscape. We had reached Rishikesh at 5am in the morning and on request, we got our room at 8.30am, despite it being a pretty busy "season" for them. The manager hadn't charged an extra penny for this early check-in, but it gave us a much needed solace to rest after an overnight bus journey. This place is also quite close to the Bistro cafe and it was a nice eatery as well. The room service here was OK, however, they don't have a kitchen of their own and have tied up with a nearby joint, so you need to pay in cash every time you order, unlike what we do usually i.e., pay while checking out. The room was spacious and AC was also working fine. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. But they did not give us toiletries and the latch was broken for the bathroom door. The small 'verandah' in front of our room was so nice...we loved it totally. I would recommend it to people who are planning to spend some time in the room and do not have a packed schedule of town hopping on their checklist. Completely worth for the money spent!

Our stay was as we had wished for. Pleasant and reviving. The location is very ideal for a peaceful stay away from all the hustle bustle. Staff is very cooperative. Hotel is at a walking distance from both Ram jhoola n Lakshman jhoola where most of the activity is. (1&1.5km ). Hotel rooms are comfortable, big and with views that are panoramic with hills n ganga ji in front. Food at the restaurant was the best. Wide range to offer, affordable and fresh. Chef was very kind n made us special dishes which we relished. Manager Veer was very friendly n helpful, available all the time. Wish to extend our thanks to all the staff members. Hill Top Swiss Cottage is situated slightly uphill so a short walk of 75-100m from the haridwar by pass road. Staff helps with the luggage. Few stairs to be managed in Hill Top Swiss Cottage also. No lift if someone needs it so plan accordingly. Other than that, it was a perfect stay for us. We enjoyed aarti at the Parmarth niketan every evening. An unparalled experience. Spent a lot of time at the ghats. Comfortable n clean rooms, views from the balcony n terrace. Very helpful and friendly staff. Amazing food. Ideally located at a comfortable walking distance from Ram jhoola and Lakshman jhoola.

First things first. Rishikesh is beautiful beyond words. And this is a very good hotel to experience this majestic city. We stayed for 6 days and their smooth service made our two day just staying in room quite enjoyable. I had booked two of their deluxe rooms (at quite affordable price, of you ask me) and it had all the mentioned things. The bathroom was clean, rooms were spacious and a good window provided the most majestic view of neelkanth pahad. Lazily waking up to this view is very satisfying. The bathroom ran hot water 24 hours and the blow dryer was a nice little touch in terms of utility. Room service was also very good. they accommodated some of our needs (we had only a few needs 😉) and that were promptly dealt by the polite and professional staff. Hill Top Swiss Cottage doesn't have their own restaurant but there is a nearby one which provides room service to your rooms and the food was very delicious. Although a bit expensive but that is the theme here, food itself in rishikesh is expensive (if you want to eat even relatively good food), so plan accordingly To close it, I would definitely recommend this hotel for you

This is one of the best hotels I had stayed in. We had a bathtub in our room (which was not operational). The view from this cottage is also very good. This place is in between Ram Jhula (1.7 km ) and Lakshman Jhula (1.6 km). Autos charge Rs 30 per person from the bus station to this place. They have all the facilities you can ask for in the room be it air conditioning, hairdryer, geyser, RO water (hot, normal and cold), etc. Book this hotel in advance if you want it at a cheap price otherwise, it will remain booked because of its popularity among tourists. Just keep in mind that you have to walk a bit uphill as the name of Hill Top Swiss Cottage suggests. The steep slope is about 200-300 meters. However, Hill Top Swiss Cottage staff will help you with your luggage if you need help to reach Hill Top Swiss Cottage. Overall this place is one of the best in Rishikesh and I highly recommend everyone to stay here. Thanks to Hill Top Swiss Cottage staff for letting us have a beautiful and comfortable stay.

A very nice swiss cottage, Although the location was bit inside the main road but the way is beautiful, I booked the room for 9 September by mistake while my actual stay was to be on 8th September, Hill Top Swiss Cottage concern person was kind enough to change the date to 8th September which was required that night without charging anything, hotel staff is very friendly, Rooms are very big and clean, location is beautiful which is surrounded by cafe's with good Vibes, environment is very safe and the management is excellent, I recommend this place to everyone who's traveling to Rishikesh, Highly recommend 🌍 Goibibo is family for me, i enjoy using Goibibo because it provides us all the services under one roof although there are some instances where i was not satisfied with the services but they were quite good to provide the resolution afterwards, Highly recommended

Hill Top Swiss Cottage is situated at bypass just nearby Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula. You can take a share auto to reach from station. This hotel amd many others(all owners realted ) are situated at a hill and this hotel is at the top. The view is marvelous from the rooms at the top.I liked ececutive rooms which are bit costly but facilities and views are amazing. For older people it would be difficult but there are rooms at ground floors . Hill Top Swiss Cottage manager cum owner Nilesh is a very helpful person. You can take help from him for your plans and in budget rate he can book river rafting, bungee jumping etc. You can even hire a bike,scooter etc for a day and roam visiting tourist sites . Thanks to him for a wonderful gesture he has showed not to mention the room service boys for making our trip fabulous.

It was a pretty stay at hilltop swiss hotel. The location is good and out of the crowd where you can enjoy mountain and river view with a lot of birds chirping whole day. But discovering this hotel is a tough job! Calling the customer care representative is very much suggested in order to avoid the mess and if you can, do use Google map! Oherwise you are definitely going to miss Hill Top Swiss Cottage at least once. A very clean and simple hotel with a good ambience. Very safe I must say. Food was from a nearby cafe and it was very tasty and simple. Behaviour of the staffs was also good. Yoga and meditation courses offerd here is another added feather in this hotel's crown. Overall, a good stay. Suggested for anyone who enjoys nature and a quiet stay away from city's loud traffic and crowd noise. :)

Hotel ia not easily reachable from bus station. Parking is not there. But views from rooms are awesome mind blowing. I will suggest this hotel only for young people / newly married couple . Old person may face difficulties to reach hotel as hotel is situated on the top. Restaurant service is not so good. We need to wait a lot to get the food delivered. Some time, they do not deliver the food even after multiple follow up. Amenities are fine. I booked a Deluxe room. No room service. You need to ask for everything. Special thanks to Receptionist ( name I don't know) for making special arrangements for my wife birthday. Room atmosphere is very calm. And views are awesome. You can enjoy a cup of coffee with your partner with a nice view of Ganga River and hills.

it was very good experience. hill top Swiss cottage was much more than expected that it will be. beautiful place in a beautiful location. I will recommend people who are going to Rishikesh can comfortably stay here without any doubt. the view out of your balcony will make you feel very good , specially in the morning and also in the evening. you will see a perfect landscape that will remind you of your childhood, mountains with a sun between them , a river crossing between mountains and some beautiful cottages out there which makes the landscape more beautiful.we did rafting and that was very tiring but view within this place heels you.all the best if you are going to this place.I am hoping to see hill top Swiss cottage again very soon.

We stayed here for 7 days in July and had a lovely relaxing time. The staff treat you like you are their favorite guest. I can only praise the management and the entire staff. Hill Top is a wonderful place to stay, the amenities are superb, everything works and the food is delicious!!!. It is located on a quiet road on a hillside with beautiful views of the Ganga. They are close to all the important tourist attractions and yet very quite. The place has a magnet and just keeps drawing people back. Everything is spot on, the owners and staff go out of their way to make you feel special. We can't wait to go back - Hill Top is special, but it's the people involved who make it so special. Hope to see you all again next year.

1- One of the best place to Stay with all facilities and comfort inside the room. Peaceful and Clean environment. 2- Rooms look beautiful. you can see Rishikesh city, Gannga View, Nature and mountains from the inside of room. 3- Outside, Rooftop view are best what you can nor easily find in Rishikesh. 4- Staff is very helpful, they are ready 24 hours to help you. 5- Easy access for the both side Ram Jhoola and Laxman jhoola. 6- Restaurant Avilable (Veg /Nonveg). 7- Mr. Hemank is very helpful, He helped us to get more information about the city and he guided us to visit around the Rishikesh. His staff member Manish also helped us. 5 On 5 to this place. Thank you.

It was a very pleasant stay at your hotel. First of all I would like to say that it was really a beautiful location so the mood was quite good to stay at your place. We reached early and was looking for a room for the time being till we get our booked rooms, Mr. Vinod from your hotel really helped us and allowed us to stay in your Reception hall as all rooms were booked but anyways it was really a good support. Rooms were pretty good, you gave us Luxury room instead of Standard which we booked that was really coollll.. Amenities and Cleanliness were great, your service was commendable. Thanks a lot for making this trip memorable while staying with your hotel... :-)

I am frequent traveler to rishikesh and this time I chose to stay at Swiss cottage, as recommended by one of friend who stayed here. it's not a 5 Star or 4 Star property. I have stayed in rishikesh in many hotels and this is better than them in this budget. the rooms are big, airy and simply designed, best part is that you have a big balcony with amazing view with the room to relax and sit in the evening. washroom was clean with a bath tub. food served was tasty but packed as their main restaurant was under renovation so the room service is being by their cafe down the road. staff good, crowd around was good. Altogether a good hotel to stay in rishikesh.

Best room I've ever booked so far out of dozens in uttarakhand!!! Squeaky clean bed, towels, pillowcase, washroom and blanket with spacious balcony&queen bed and hugeeee room. They even have hair dryer and inbuilt handsoap liquid in Washroom and toilet rolls! Also, 2 sachets of green tea&honey was offered along with water jug warmer for tea coffee!!! Plus they also offer free yoga classes for those yoga freaks! So glad i found this cottage! I'll always book hill top swiss cottage as long as m breathing lol! Ty whoever is the owner cz the interiors and whole set up is soooo exotic! Love Amy, from Nagaland/Delhi!!!

Hill Top Swiss Cottage is very well built and the manager is also very nice as i was offerred an upgrade in the room due to delay in check in..however would have to keep an eye on the cleaning staff as my cameras memory card got stolen , and when investigated with the staff they returned it ( as i threatened to call police)saying they found it in the garbage cleaned 24 hours ago.. Hill Top Swiss Cottage service didnt bother to even give the keys and the room was always kept opened due to no lock given by hotel staff..overall god place service can be improved and security big concern...

This was my second visit to this hotel and the point to book this hotel again is that first time when we stayed in this hotel, we found it very calm, relaxed place to stay. It is little bit away from Ram jhoola hence quite less crowd & noisy place. If you want to just relax and would like to find some time for your own then it is a must property to stay in budget. Only thing which I do not like is the food.Basically this area serves best for Foreign guests hence food is much expensive here and accordingly quality/Taste of food is not at par as far as Indian food taste is concerned.

The hill top staff were extremely accommodating and super friendly during our visit. The rooms were immaculately clean and beds were comfortable we didn't want to wake up in the morning. The rooms are well placed to enjoy the nature from your room balcony. It was so endearing to meet other guests who have spent many years coming back to hill top, a clear reflection of the comfort ness it possess. And not to forget nishant, manager and owner, don't forget to see him, really helpful and genuine guy. Definitely coming back in our trip to India.

Overall i would rate this hotel as 4.5...with the exceptional service quality...very cooperative staff with quick in response...being a female traveler owner arranged pick drop facility...that was really very amicable from Hill Top Swiss Cottage side...there was no facility of food in Hill Top Swiss Cottage...it has a small restaurant nearby named nirvana...which good and cheap with the prices...location was totally meant for those who want a peaceful stay and easy to locate Hill Top Swiss Cottage as well....!

If you are looking for some thing luxurious, you will have other options. If you are looking for a stay where it really gives u a feeling of Rishikesh, you are precisely in the right spot... Good service, very friendly people and too economical. The guys staying in here are mainly foreigners. You have a got a great restaurant "Rastha cafe", just in the foothill of Hill top Swiss cottage. Meet Veer ji the receptionist, he is friendly and will help you a lot. Love this place and its ambience....
