Hotel Kodai International

I happen to visit Hotel Kodai Intl which i booked through Goibobo. I was sceptical on 2 grounds (1) being a new location (2) being travelling with family to an unknown hotel.. To my surprise my stay there was far than excellent and pleasurable. There entire experience with Hotel Kodai International has been awesome. I have stayed in hotels in India as well as Abroad but i can say so far i have never seen such a great staff with service always on their mind and not to forget smile on their faces. Right through from my travel from Kodai station to hotel till the drop back to station after 3 days was excellent. The food in the restaurant was truly amazing and i never felt like i am missing any taste of any variety. Notebly The front desk staff, Casper , Jawahar and all other staff were all in their best of service always. The staff at the restaurant were top notch and to my surprise they also had baby food for my 1.5 yrs in case we need. The facilities and the room were all excellent and not to forget the open area, bon fire and kids movies daily. In fact i can say spending time here is equally relaxing as visiting Kodai sight seeing...Overall i can say my stay at HKI has been truly world class and if i ever have to visit again i have Hotel Kodai International name already pre-selected....-:) Only feedback ..pls consider some promotions an discounts so that people like me can come more often and spend more time......

it was an amazing experience of staying at hotel kodai International. if you are heading for a a weekend getaway to Kodaikanal with family, then kodai International is the perfect getaway. the rooms are very comfortable and there are luxurious sprawling lawns. there are so many outdoor activities to keep the kids (and grown ups too) occupied. daily evening movies are amazing (my son just loved it !). more than the propoerty, what sets Kodai International apart is amazing hospitality. every staff that you meet will greet you with a smile and ever ready with solution for your problems. they literally go the extra mile to ensure you have a comfortable stay and a memorable experience. right at the reception, Malar and paulraj helped us with a smooth checkin process. on our last day we had checked out in the morning and were awaiting for our return journey to Bengaluru (which was in late evening). Malar and Paulraj noticed that we waiting and were courteous enough to make us feel very comfortable. this was a very touching gesture. hotel kodai International shall be our favoured destination everytime we or our friends visit Kodaikanal!

We stayed at Kodai International Hotel during the month of April,2015. It is an amazing property. The rooms were neat and tidy with all the required amenities. The staff were excellent. The breakfast was fantastic. But the icing on the cake was the ambiance. Hotel Kodai International premises and extensive gardens was simply outstanding. They have facilities for almost anything you ask for. In fact Hotel Kodai International is an exclusive activity center in itself. Golfing....Football....volleyball....badminton.....table tennis.....caroms.....Billiards.....the list is just unending. The only issue, if you actually call it an issue, is the approach road to Hotel Kodai International. You have to pass through a by lane laced with home stays and small shacks to get to the entrance of Hotel Kodai International. But then once you reach there it is a totally different world. A 16 acre landscaped campus, all to the extensive use of Hotel Kodai International guests. It is indeed a great place to spend an awesome vacation. Will definitely come back to stay at this place during the next visit to Kodaikanal. Thank you.

It was family trip to Kodaikanal a long vacation after a long period of work. We had shortlisted Hotel Kodai International Kodai International after going various reviews and booked for 2 nights i.e. Feb 14 th to 15th;2017. After a long car drive from Ooty for 5-6 hours we reached at Hotel Kodai International. The journey tiredness disappeared as soon as we reached to Hotel Kodai International reception counter. A warm welcome with green tea offered by the reception made us cheerful start. The rooms were very comfortable. and with the garden in front view. Class relaxing arrangement in the garden different type of amenities. beautiful view of Ooty made us to enjoy Hotel Kodai International stay. One small problem with room was the flooring in our room was unequal and with same tiles making us to indicate uniform flooring but it was having a mini step of 4” which created problem for us to identify and put the steps. Rest the room service was very good, the food was also equally good. We also enjoyed local sight seeing. We enjoyed the nature and travel. A most successful pleasure travel I ever had.

It was a pleasant and memorable trip. Stay in Hotel kodai international was fantastic. Hotel Ambience was great. All Hotel Kodai International staff were very friendly and helpful right from reception to housekeeping to travel desk incharge to restaurant staff. Food: Food in orchard restaurant was very good. Restaurant staff were very cordial and prompt in service. Cleanliness and hygiene: House keeping were very reachable whenever we asked for assistance. Travel desk incharge Deva was very accomodative. On the whole the trip was made memorable and pleasant with our stay in Hotel kodai international. I would like to visit Kodaikanal just to stay again in kodai international. They even packed breakfast and gave it to us well before our hotel check out as we had early morning flight from madurai. Thanks again to all Hotel Kodai International staff for their good service and making our stay memorable. To name a few michael mary, vijayarani, deva, priya, paulraj. Would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family. It was an enjoyable trip for our family.

Its really nice experience.... beautiful place lots of things in Hotel Kodai International itself. evening DJ dance and nice ground. Also lots of for kids to play even elders. Everything is good. but i can't see the view which is in Hotel Kodai International photo in website. nice staffs, polite, supportive the main thing is i was booked one day for another hotel because booking time got some confused happend. first day was another hotel and second day in kodai international. But the first day hotel was closed one day before we started to kodaikannal. I was little worried and confused. I though need to book one addition booking. Inbetween try to contact Goibibo and from travel care some one contact me. The person he really comfort me through the phone and give me a good offer, they provide in kodai international one day for the closed hotels without any addition charges. in kodai international i was booked deluxe room and Goibibo given supreme room for two days. thanks goibibo

after reading so many mixed reviews, finally decided to go for this hotel. hotel sahi h , location thoda city center se door hai, taxi hi possible h bus stop se wo 150 rs leta h min charge. So every time u want to go to anywhere u have to spent 150 rs min. hotel ka total area kaafi vast hai ...kodai kanal me achhe hotel kam hi hain ..unme ye wala hotel achhe hotels me hai. amenities TT basketball badminton hotel me milti hai ...jo theek thaak hi hain hamari kismat achhi thi ...dat day DJ and bonfire bhi tha....both made our stay suparb breakfast me varieties to hain but quality maintain bas kuch items ki hai staff bhi ok ok hai ground floor ka room aur 1st floor ke rooms me kaafi difference hain ..1st hame ground floor ka room diya gaya fir hamne change karwaya ....dont take ground floor rooms bcz 1st floor rooms are nwly built and really far better than ground floors. wifi is having some issues on some location. finally good hotel among all other hotels in kodaikanel.

It's been a good experience staying at Hotel Kodai International, The most highlighting aspect of Hotel Kodai International is it's beautiful lush green lawn garden and kids park. The rooms are big enough to accommodate 4 to 6 persons. 24/7 hot water is available, The house keeping staff will clean and change the bed sheets and linens on daily basis, additional bed and retractable cots will be provided on demand/prior booking. sufficient parking space is available for those who travelling by their own vehicles. Good ambience, Dance floor, camp fire, Bar, Restaurant are some of the other highlights of Hotel Kodai International, cordial front office staff, complimentary buffet breakfast is really good and property is close to most of the tourist locations. Ideal for couples and Families. I recommend this hotel for all the tourist who are planning their visit to Kodaikanal in the near future. It's a true value for money hotel.

Excellent place for family. The kids will love the place for its Rabbits, Aviary, outdoor games and scenic beauty (waterfall included). Food: Good breakfast with a lot of variety and complimentary. The lunch and dinner is a exotic hence expensive and is delivered hot and fast to the room. The people at Hotel Kodai International are very friendly. Mr. Paul Raj was kind to take a our pictures during our stay and helped us with directions. Also, Hotel Kodai International is a huge place and one day is not enough to roam around it. Rooms our clean and compact. Heater is provided and it is much needed. The travel packages Hotel Kodai International offers are good and you can avail them if you don't have your own transport. I will surely visit this place next year for 2018 is when the Kurinji flower blossoms. Hotel Kodai international- see u soon.

Wonderful plenty of play area for kids and adults, though double bedroom was not spacious enough. 24x7 hot water, good travel desk and I must say service was superior that my kid who fell ill at 12 midnight was immediately taken to nearby hospital by the night supervisor and got him recover by the morning . Also had all the lenins changed as my kid vomit over it. 4 travel packages was good too. Best one to opt for should be berijam lake as you get pass the earlier day itself. Breakfast is too good and very south Indian. If I had to complain then it is just that tea and coffee at their "tea kadai" is not good. We had a chance to attend guru puja on Thursday at their inside ganesh temple itself, nice experience. An advice to hotel mgmt, the night disco or dj is very much louder has very high decibals that disturbs kids sleep.

one of the best stays during our 6 days trip to South India. It couldn't have been any better than this for sure. It is not just a hotel, it is a resort in fact. I don't understand why they call themselves hotel. Also it's just rated 3 star while I am sure it is a 5 star resort with such amenities. Awesome facilities for kids n adults like games, movie, fire camp, bar etc. Hospitality is at its peak. They offer anything you ask for. My family enjoyed thoroughly the entire stay at this place. I would strongly recommend couples n family to please stay here and enjoy as we did. My only request to management is to change the TV units in first floor rooms to LCD or Led instead of TV boxes. Rest, no complains. You guys are doing a great job offering amazing stay at a very reasonable price.

I have paid ...for 2 nights stay. The cost might seem slightly expensive for the room, but considering the access to parks/ grassland inside Hotel Kodai International, access to board games to spend time with dear ones and the polite service, the cost is justified. If you are travelling with family/ a group then This hotel would be a great choice. There are some things to improve though - like Room is quite old and needs small patch works and decor, Food although for the quantity provided the cost is justified people without knowing the serving size might order more, waste more yet spend more too.Kudos to travel desk for arranging one day sightseeing at a short notice. It's better to book from travel desk rather than outside provided the costs are same as I got when I traveled.

Excellent hotel to stay, specially for families. Very courteous staff. Lot of games to play for everybody. arrangements for dance and campfire. Lot of area inside Hotel Kodai International, for photography, spending leisure time, children play area etc. Food in the restaurant was tasty except that it's little costly. I had to spend 1500 for dinner of 4. Breakfast has good options. Ample parking. Nice clean and hygienic rooms with daily housekeeping. TV equipped with HD channels including the PRIME Sony/Star channels. Electric kettle plus stuff available to prepare tea/coffee in Room. Loved my stay at this hotel. 4 stars 'coz if the food is little less costly, it will be good for visitors and hotel both, as most people would prefer to eat at Hotel Kodai International.

We have had a pleasant 2 days of stay at HKI, to start with, its located at the heart of the city, cant forget to mention that if you are traveling to the city by ksrtc bus, its just on the way to the final bus stand, its also quite close to the most famous sights at Kodai, the property is maintained veryy well, we were very happy with the lush green garden and the beauty of flora, they also have quite a few recreation activities and we enjoyed them to the best. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Breakfast has limited options and is decent but the menu for the other meals of the day is interesting and equally tasty :) A very cost effective and excellent option for one to try. I would recommend HKI well, we went back with a happy face :)

Very comfortable stay. Approach road from the main road is small but yet a short distance few 100 feet from the main road. very spacious and clean. starting from lawn, play area, indoor game area rooms restaurants you name it, it's clean and tidy. Very courteous staff. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Renovated the rooms so look clean and aesthetically well planned. Very spacious and spotlessly clean tidy,very courteous staffs.They don't fuss for repeated calls. Restaurants are great.Food is very delicious not very spicy comfortable for all ages.Varieties in the buffet spread is good.All varieties are nice and stomach friendly. Play area is clean and will be able to entertain not only kids but adults too.Car can be parked in front of rooms too.

Probably one of the best hotels we have been too. Their service just overwhelms you. If you are looking to stay at kodaikanal and spend time anyway then do choose Kodai International. Their have excellent food coupled with prompt service. There was absolutely no gripe, we went as a pack of 10 and all 10 came out absolutely satisfied. If I were to knitpick and really say some con about this hotel, that would be about the lack of a kettle in the room, we took out the basic room and that was the reason as well, but would have been great to have that one missing piece as well. Its almost 27 years old and the place still looks spanking clean and lavishly laid out. Yet again if its kodai pick kodai international and you will never go wrong about it.

Hotel Kodai International is Easy accessible location. Hotel Kodai International looks like resort. Complimentary breakfast is good. All Hotel Kodai International staff behavior is friendly and superb. There are multiple activities and play areas for all age category. Bonfire in night is excellent. Traditional restaurant Savadi Mess is unique and must try once. Mrs. Mary amma who is supply the foods and her hospitality is superb.Hotel restaurant food price is expensive.There is no extraordinary view point in hotel. it's normal garden view only. Room cleaned daily. My perspective everything is good. Easy accessible location,Bonfire in night, Secured place and friendly environment, Cleaned rooms.

I have been moved around many hill station hotels/resorts in south India, I am completely satisfied with this hotel in all respect. This spread across 15 acres of land, covers almost all type of facilities which no one expect from such type of budget hotel/resort. I would share few what they include inside their campus; Big Ganesha Temple, Zoo for birds & Animals, Cricket & Volley ball practice nets, Natural water fall, long stretch grass field, Park with animal sculptures, Big Lawn, Evening DJ, Evening Movies in theater, etc.... I have never seen all those in any hotel/resort within a budget of ****/- per night. The staffs are so much caring, you will be appreciated to their service.

We had a great time as a family at this resort. The ambience was good, though there was a minor construction going on, amenities were good, onsite restaurant was good. Most importantly the front desk and support staff were excellent. They know what a customer service is...at the time of check-in they mentioned reservation was made for one adult only and charged extra...Restaurant staff was very rude towards guests who opted for stay+food package. If you are paying from your pocket you'll be treated well. Not sure bout this discrimination, and why Hotel Kodai International promotes food+stay packages. My advice stay away from the pkg deal.
