Lillys Valley Resort

Good things first: A big resort with nice ambiance with greenery all around. This resort is not in the middle of the city and still pretty much in the city. So easy to reach but away from all the noises. Swings and slides for the kids were there. Staff was very polite and helpful, specially the room service staff. Food was good and fairly priced. Room was of decent size and clean. Not so good things: We had booked queen suite but were given a deluxe room on the first night. When i checked the official website of the resort and realized what has been done we pointed it out to them. So they shifted us to slightly better room which was also, i believe, a deluxe room. Because as per the description of queen suite, there should have been terrace with the room which this one didn't have. Room size was almost the same as previous room, just the decor was different. This definitely didn't go down well with us as we had paid extra for the kind of room we wanted but didn't find it worth to keep fighting for the room as we went there to relax and enjoy. Also dinner options are quite limited.

The stay at Lilly's resort was excellent and their service and hospitality had no negative comments. The resort gives a heritage feeling, it is a large property with lush green plants/flowering plants everywhere although it is bit far (2-2.5 km)from the city bus stand/Central hub (can be advantageous or disadvantageous based on your choice). The resort was undergoing some renovation and we had to bear some noises briefly during the stay. The rooms do not have a heater if you are travelling in monsoon/winter months.The bathtub doesn't work and is just a wet area as per staff's feedback.Food was great and had good choices for the breakfast. Nothing great about the dishes they do for lunch or dinner.As a family it was a nice experience, our kid liked the play area and campfire during our stay. The property itself has ample photo opportunities.

Pros: First thing that grabs your attention is the courteous service. We stayed in a king suite cottage and they were cosy and nicely accompanied by wooden work in all sides. Food was average, we tried all the three meals at the resort. Very much accessible and less than 5kms to the lake. Not last but not least, Furniture and wood work was top notch. Cons: Major thing that missed was activities in the resort, they just had one carom board and two chess board. On a busy weekend with 10+ families in the resort it was always occupied. Camp fire was not well organized. Another big disappointment was there was no barbeque facility in the resort, being a hill station many guests will love a barbeque with the bonfire. No sign boards on the way to the resort.

I think this hotel stand out of the rest in Kodaikanal in location and ambience. You will feel like you are isolated very distantly with test of the world. They are plants all around. Deluxe rooms we got were outstanding. We are thankful for the free upgrade to a queen size room. Hospitality was one of the best I ever received from a hotel. Food was good too. Even though not much, the available amenities and surroundings won't make you bored. All the room facilities was in good state especially the heater. The makeshift campfire was aa nice one. Though there are cheaper lodging options available in Kodaikanal, I recommend stay at Lilly's Valley everyone to make your Kodaikanal visit more memorable.

This is one of its kind resort. I stayed with my family for 2 nights in the Family room with fireplace. The resort had a cool green ambience with a touché indo-euro construction. The rooms were spacious and lovely. Restrooms clean tidy. My kids loved the whole ambience. Food was second best to my home food. My 3 yr old son and 7 yr old daughter enjoyed the breakfasts. Dinner orders were taken in the evening at around 5pm and served @ around 8-8.30pm. F&B and House keeping service boys were active and friendly, I could get anything I asked for within minutes. All in all an awesome place to stay, 10/10 times I will recommend for family with kids.

Great place to stay at Kodai. Value for money 100%. Ambience is nice.. Their infra is absolutely a nice piece of craft with great ideas.. If you expect a stay with peace of mind with your mid level budget , go ahead with Lily's. Particularly, food was very tasty, hygienic, and yummy.. They had minimum menu items, may be that is the reason for having delivered tasty foods on time. Camp fire, mini theatre, children play area, separate dining are available... Tea, Cofee, milk served to room..People are cooperative... Only drawback I have seen is No Wifi in rooms otherwise nothing to think about selecting other hotels.. Surely I will visit again!

I like the stay at Lilly valley very much. The room service was excellent. They had more varieties for complementary breakfast and they served it hot and very tasty . It includes Dosai ,Idli, Pongal, Poori, vada, Omlet, Khichadi,Bread with jam, sweet, tea and coffee. They had a la carte options for dinner which is payable. Dinner food taste is average with insufficient gravies and not worth the amount which could be improved. Room was clean , spacious and neat .Arranged camp fire. Nice places for the kids to play. Overall a very good atmosphere for the holidays that I would recommend at Kodaikanal.

We had been to Lilly's Valley for our first anniversary. Already had heard lot of good things about the place and it did not disappoint a bit. Excellent staff, service, hospitality everything was good. I thought the complimentary breakfast will have bread+jam and tea\coffee like most of the places, but not here.. Here you will have 7-8 options at least :) Well maintained surroundings.. More than Kodaikanal and places arround, this resort was more fresh and gives u a nice feeling. Worth every penny!

Great place to visit with friends and family. The resort itself is beautiful and has many photo opportunities. Staff was very courteous. Main highlight is food. Both breakfast buffet and ordered food tasted great and the food was homely in the sense that we did not feel uneasy or bloated at all after eating. However, not having the common campfire was a disappointment. There were also no kettle, mugs and coffee/tea in the rooms which we expected at this price range.

Lillys Valley Resort has a good location, away from the hustle and bustle of the town Centre. Cottages were neat, well maintained and comfortable. Hearty breakfast, decent choice for dinner room service and hot drinking water as well as access to 24x7 hot water for showers were useful amenities. There is a small kids play area, swings and flower shrubs that adorn the property. Staff service and hospitality was great. Would recommend the place.

Overall great experience of staying here for 2N, it's little far (around 2 km) from City main area (Lake area) but totally worth it if you are looking for a serene valley view as well as peaceful ambience. Breakfast quality was good. We booked Royal King Suite which was pretty spacious and was offering superb view of valley at 2 sides. Wi-Fi speed was great as we could live stream movies. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful.

@Jagadeesh : Visited on 27th - 29th of Nov. Very nice resort and staff is really good. Entire feeling throughout the trip was amazing they just made our visit to kodaikanal really memorable. Food was really good and and kitchen staff are really nice. Best location and safe place. so, finally i feel that we chose a best resort. Thank you all the staff of lelly's valley for such a nice treatment you are all amazing.

The property is beautiful. The cottages are are tastefully designed. Spacious and well equipped rooms. The food was delicious and decently priced. The service is prompt. The checkin and check out was fast. Parking is available in the property. Thers is a park with swings and slides for kids. They light the bon fire at night. It was a great stay. A good place to stay with family or friends.

Full of Freshness , Flowers.... Wonderful room service...except the reception guy who reminded me that i am there for only 1 day and had to check if he can arrange for camp fire ( which obviously did not happen )..... i expected him to tell the charges...and not to remind me if i am there for 1 day or a month.....but still OVERALL - EXCELLENT STAY even for 1 day !!

Stayed For 3Days 2nights , Got Good Deal on Goibibo , Booked family suite with fire Place ,The stay was Good ,Room are Neat and clean Overall Property was Good to stay in Kodai ,Staff is nice and friendly . The only problem i felt is food as the resort didn't had running kitchen they will take the order by 5:30 for dinner which is quite early i felt .

everything perfect..only constraint is infront of my room construction work is going on but I don't feel any discriminate. environment and children play area all r gud pleasant , peaceful place. also breakfast and foods are tasty even though they provide limited menu.

Perfect for family stay. Excellent view from my room. Good support staff. Kumar from the room service team is dedicated and sincere. He was very helpful. Should improve on bedsheets and towels. Which seem to be bit old. Otherwise, overall a pleasant stay.

one of the nice place to stay in kodaikanal. This place is more apt for families.The service is good and staff are cooperative. A necessarily lit bit extra expensive. Over all the place is stayable looking forward for future stay.

Beautiful!! Pleasant stay. Room no 102 recommended for beautiful view. Nice service for breakfast. They don’t have a running restaurant, but that did not matter. Also, go by your vehicle if possible since taxis there cost a lot.

Nice rooms enjoyed a lot washrooms are good.Rooms are full made of wood.Nice stay.Hotel provided car for sight seeing and picked us from Madhurai at resonable price of Rs 2500 with local sight seeing
