Madpackers Amritsar Rooms|Dorms

Hello Dear travellers, I booked a Dorm at Madpackers, Amritsar for myself for a night and the experience was amazing. I had a sound sleep with the comfortable bed, the cleanliness the property provided and the amazing AC experience at such an authentic price. I have been to other dorms as well but this Dorm's checkout time is apt. other's Checkout times were like 10:00am or 11:00 am. This property allows checkout at 12:00 noon which I liked. The Kitchen area and common area is really good. The staff members are also very polite and professional. You may order anything from the Menu. Some of the items include tea, coffee, Maggie etc. You are requested to wash the extra Dishes or plates you take for your personal use, which is good. For Dorm travellers, you may ask for Towel for bathing purpose, but it is chargeable at Rs. 50. Soap and other amenities, they asked me to bring from outside only. For room bookings they might be providing, I believe As a solo traveller, I request the other travellers as well to help maintain this property so that others as well as we may experience the same experience in future as well. Thankyou. The Property is only 600-700 metres away from The famous Holy Shrine The Golden temple. This makes this place a must book. Also, as a solo traveller you don't want to pay for a hotel price and neither do I. The dorm facilities with such a decent price and the cleanliness and AC, makes it very charming and attractive. Now I don't book a hotel anymore. This form service has been a saviour for me where you experience almost a 3 star like experience. Other solo travellers must try this property once.

Madpackers are all about experience of different ideas, life and culture. It's truly a Pandora Box to me. I stayed here for 4 days. They allowed me to have an early check in(that is subject to availability), if u arrived early then you can stay at a common place that's very comfy and homely. Madpackers Amritsar Rooms|Dorms Reception is managed by the wonderful Ambarsariyas Samar,Vikas, Chandan and Shiva, they help tourists to get to know more about this town. Also, they arrange direct tours to Wagha Border. The place is close to Jalliawala baugh and Golden temple. If you are a first timer in the city the easiest landmark to reach out to Madpackers is Sultanwind Gate.The Madpackers is located in between the old city , the place has Old Havelis with 150-200 year old architecture .I ended my trip with hopes and tears . The city of Ramdas ji(Amritsar) wanted me to stay longer. I heard his call and I will definitely return to Amritsar and at Madpackers someday. Never felt like a solo traveller, you can travel companions from Madpackers. No more words , Just come and Experience.

I am very calculative when it comes to investment and after all my research, I can say Madpackers Amritsar is the best hostel to stay for solo travellers as it is economical & pocket friendly. I stayed there from 10-15th December. This hostel's vibes are so warm & beautiful. Staff is very polite, friendly and will help you out in every possible way. Samar, Chandan & everyone(sorry, I am unable to recall some names) including housekeeping staff are really nice people and do their work properly. Hostel is at walkable distance from Golden Temple & Jalianwala Bagh and that's the best part because you get to explore the old Amritsar. And I don't think that you will have any issue with hygiene here as they clean everything everyday be it kitchen, rooms, common room & washrooms. Your perspective for seeing the things can be different from mine, but at least give it a try to Madpackers. Rooftop area is good to sit and chill in the evening also the common is cozy enough. The host Samar is really cooperative and friendly. Overall the property is nice and comfortable also Golden temple is hardly a 10min walk from here. There are many guests with whom you can plan around to visit nearby places as well. This place always remains as happening one.

the stay was close to Amritsar Golden Temple, they arranged tour packages to the wagah border which was really good. they give good food suggestion and places to try. the staff was really nice. the rooms were little small but comfortable. i recommend

The place was nice and clean. Common area is also well managed. it is really close to the Golden Temple. The only thing that I felt was not ok is the football table and other entertainment things are not maintained but overall experience was good.

Very clean, decent, just walking distance from main spots like Golden temple, Jalianwalabaug, Partition museum, Pehelwan Kulcha, Iskon temple, etc. lovely place wifi speed is good. common space has sitting area where you can work peacefully

An awesome place with people good at heart, money can be spent more or less anywhere but staying in a place where you get a good environment and great service is rare.Anyone visiting Amritsar should look no further to Madpackers Amritsar ❣️

Overall experience was awesome, Nice clean space, l will prefer for solo travellers. Only thing was washroom was not clean. They provided the Wagha tour (budget), I had a great time... and met with new friends.

perfect place to recharge if you have a demanding journey planned ahead of you. just make sure you're well hydrated withb really clean water provided free of charge with really nutrition Shiva s food with love

this was very first time I happened to stay at hostel must say it was an amazing experience the staff is very helpful. common area is also nice all the necessary utensils are available in common kitchen

madpackers amritsar is one of best dormitory in amritsar i loved to stay here everytime. staff is very friendly who always welcome you with the smile. clean bed with clean washroom rooftop common room

location of the property is not good, Property interiors are quite interesting. Good place to to spend time with friends as it has rooftop garden and common room for games and activities.

wonderful stay and very clean. 800mts to golden temple staff is also very friendly and I have made many friends in 3days in hostel I'll visit again soon. freedom

The hostel is a cozy place to feel the ambiance of golden temple. Amenities like common area and open kitchen are available. The people are good and welcoming.
