Outpost@Alibaug

We had an awesome stay at Outpost, Though their property is small, and the roads leading to Alibag is a nightmare ( which i think they cant do much about, and Municipal corporation cares a hoot about), i have never seen the kind of amenities provided by any 5 star or 7 star properties, that Outpost have managed to club in, and mind you, without you feeling claustrophobic. - All 22 rooms are tastefully done, neat,and clean and have two queen sized beds, with all 4 star amenities and an amazing ambience. The upper level rooms have a common balcony shared between two rooms, while the ground level rooms dont have a sit-out ( but frankly it really didn't matter) They have something for every age group. to elaborate on a few - The Game arena, fully functional Gym and Spa occupy a huge basement, that is classy, completely air-conditioned, which have the regular indoor games like carrom, ludo, snakes and ladder, foosball, Table Tennis, Pool table, and believe it or not." a squash arena" with special footwear to use, that i still haven't seen in the best of resorts. Mind blowing..All the gaming equipment is in first class order, very well maintained. - they have even managed to have a basketball court and a badminton court..Wow!!! - There is a beautiful and cozy Video hall that is a class apart, with lounge chairs and believe it or not,comfy beds where u actually can lie on your back and watch some great movies. we had a great time watching movies there , it kinda felt like a personal movie theatre hall just for our private screening. - They even have a small pyramid structure where you can meditate, or just relax, very thoughful and again,one of a kind, not seen anywhere else that we have been to... - To add to all this, my daughter always wanted to spend some time on a tree house ( one of her fantasy!!!), and believe me they have made a wonderful tree house, that we all loved to spend time in, another feather on their cap, as this too...is not seen in the best of so called 7 star resorts, which have no dearth of spaces, but i guess lack of intent and will to think for the guests, most of which would be families with kids... -Their in house restaurant " The Alibag Kitchen" served only veg food, but it was tasty, even though they did not have a large spread. And they do serve hard drinks. - i just cant stop raving about this place, as my wife (we all know wives are difficult to satisfy!!!) and my daughter, both had one of their best times there, and by the end of three nights and four days, it seemed we hadn't had enough, and wanted to spend some more time there... Even though **** had rated this boutique resort at No.3, i think after going through their No.2 resort in Alibag personally, i had no qualms of staying here. it can easily and rightfully be the No.1 resort in Alibag, for it is not the quantity of space that yopu provide that matters but how thoughtfully has the place been done up, keeping in mind the comfort and needs of the guests. Everyone should try this Resort once in their life time, and im sure you will want to prolong your life time to enjoy it again.

Overall an awesome experience at outpost. Everything was more than expectation. Specially would like to thank Mr. Deepak, Mr. Pankaj at reception and Mr. Jayesh they were very much helpful. Especially Mr. Pankaj who was there at reception, i called him at around 3am and at time he some how arranged medicine for us. If you plan for a indoor stay then vist alibag because personally i didnt find anythng to visit in alibaug. Alibaug was the worst place i have ever visited, even locals there dont help u, they misguide on routes. But being at hotel is awesome. Services, cleanliness and all was perfect. Just disappointed from food as it is costly, in 3 days only for dinner our bill was ***** plus. N more over they have their fix timings for kitchen. I called up in afternoon 3.03pm for lunch and the person there told me that kitchen is closed at 3 so cant give lunch. Was not happy with food apart from that overall a nice experience. Keep it up guys... cheers. Just try to reduce your food rates.

After a stressful week at work, we decided to hit the road to Alibaug and have a peaceful weekend at Outpost alibaug. We opted for all meal package with deluxe rooms,and yes the trip was worth it thanks to Outpost for making that happen. Outpost is around 3 hours drive from Mumbai, we reached at around lunch time and before checking in the room we had lunch. As the restaurant is veg only but that didn't disappoint us instead they had good varieties of veg meals served all for lunch, dinner and breakfast. We checked in to the rooms on the first floor, it was spacious well maintained bathroom with a quaint little balcony. Staff was extremely helpfull and you can never get bored or even step out of the facility as you have so much to do, swimming pool, games, mini theatre, spa, gym, meditation room, tree house. Would definitely recommend the place if going with family & would surely visit again. Hope Outpost maintain the same facilities. Thumps up to Outpost !!

This is very nice place for family. We as family visited in the month on September 2015. It is little far from any known beach but once you enter the resort it makes you feel good. It is nearly 8 KM before Alibaug if you travel by vehicle. Place is nicely maintained, kept clean, indoor games are really good, there's also a gym, a mini Theater where you can watch your favorite movie, badminton court, clean swimming pool, small basketball goal post, Cycle available on demand and a pond with few ducks. Rooms are cozy but not luxurious. Initially felt the food was bit average but the next two days were better (only veg served). Overall a very pleasant experience. The location in google was incorrect and hence had to wander a bit while reaching for the place.

Outpost is a good option for a mini break from city lifestyle. It is a well maintained property with very good indoor game options and a large swimming pool. the surrounding is peaceful and makes you feel one with nature. food was good, nothing spectacular but not bad either. it is a pure vegetarian hotel, so do make a point of that..overall I would rate it 4 out of 5.. definitely value for money and USP would be the indoor games section.. Even the standard rooms have 2 large beds. so easily accomodates your. hold if travelling as a family. it is safe, clean and the property is not too far from the beach.

Place is located in a peaceful atmosphere. Staff are friendly If you know Marati, it is still better. Rooms are clean and fittings good. The break out area in basement: TT, Billiards, Gym, Squash, movie room is fabulous. For food, one cannot eat buffet three times a day, ala carte option should be introduced if possible during non-peak days. Pool is very close to the rooms and risky for children as they can just walk into pool . There are no life guards on duty in pool. One of our child just fell in water and there were no one to check this from hotel staff.

The food in Outpost@Alibaug was too good - quite a lot of varieties were offered during breakfast, lunch and dinner. The swimming pool was big and clean as well. The recreation room had indoor games like carrom, pool table, chess, ludo, snakes and ladders, squash and also had a gym. There was a basket ball court just opposite to the restaurant. The ambience was too good during the evening time. The staff was cordial and their service was awesome. Overall, it is highly recommended to visit this place. Amenities, food, room - in short each and everything.

It's located in a quite serene peaceful place. The surrounding is lush green. It was a wonderful stay. They have game room, basketball ground, badminton ground, mediation centre. Breakfast buffet was good, provides good options. Food was delicious. Rooms were clean. But Staff is not good. They don't know how to greet. They are not at all interested in work. Receptionists are not at all bothered about the guests. Room service is slow. Place is 4/5 I'll remove one point for the uncordial staff. They need some training in hospitality.

Outpost@Alibaug can boast for its amazing food but it lacks the charm in its hotel rooms. The ambience and the campus is clean and well maintained. The staff is well behaved and the service is great. The deluxe rooms were only the setback factor in this resort. The resort is also far from beaches, so it is important to have your own car if you are planning to stay in outpost. And it doesn't serve not veg. But overall I am happy with my stay in outpost. The room maintenance can be better though.

I went at Outpost with my family over the weekend. It's a safe, clean, resourceful and fun place. It has plenty of amenities to experience and engage like dual bicycle, squash, badminton, meditation centre, mini theatre, swimming pool. The only thing which needs improvement is food option and cost. I find tariff to be on higher side and also cost of food at restaurant is very high. It cost me 2300 for the lunch for 5 people which is a ripoff.

We upgraded to premium room and the room was excellent. The facility is very well maintained. All the games, pool, children play rides etc is in very good condition (almost like new). The food is awesome...definitely worth taking the all meal plan. Again, very tasty food. They customized the food for our toddler and delivered to room when requested. Very courteous staff and always ready to help. Had a nice and relaxed vacation.

The city is bit far from the resort. So if you don't have a vehicle it is inconvenient to travel around. You can hire cab or auto rickshaw. Also the restaurant is pure veg, which I didn't know while booking. So we have to travel to the city for non-veg food. But other than that there is no problem at all. Resort is great. Staff is very helpful. Amenities are also good. Special compliments to the architect. Very well designed.

unlimited usage of swimming pool. visit kihim beach in the morning between 10 to 11 am to have a good experience. kihim beach is 6 km from hotel. shuttle court in hotel is very exciting.good space arround for morning and evening walk.complmantary tea coffee with hot snack at swimming pool is great. morning breakfast lunch and dinner buffet was wonderful. in total a wonderful stay. Cycling in slope recall old memories.

everything was super cool.. right from check in to end staff are ready to help you always. food is also best part and the amenities provided for kids and big ones are awesome.my kids just use to come to room for freshen up and sleep rest full day they were busy with activities.. perfect destination for family game zone was wonderful with all working games and also mini theatre. play area badminton court and food

It was amazing experience at Outpost deserve to be 4 star property. Everything about it was nice like rooms, swimming pool, tree house, garden, play area and food. I am non vegetarian but I was amazed with the VEG food. Do try Paneer Makhni with Garlic Naan. Sanjay and Nitin staff was so friendly and nice. it as just 15 mins away from Kihim beach and Alibagh beach. I would recommend this resort for family.

Pros: 1. Excellent indoor games facility (Squash, Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, Ludo, Pool) 2. Nice swimming pool (One large pool & one kiddies pool) 3. Staff is very courteous and helpful 4. Food is good but vegetarian only. More starters and soft drinks can be included in the buffet 5. Got an upgrade to premium room which was really spacious and cosy. 6. Overall definitely value for money.

the property is awesome. there are many activities to do. Indoor games like ludo, TT, chess, snooker, squash etc. and few outdoor games like basketball and badminton. it has got play area for kids too. swimming pool and tree house is also amazing. The only issue we had was with food. we ordered french fries, paneer biryani and veg raita. It wasn't good. food rating ⭐⭐ property rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The property is well equipped with everything. Kids will love this place. Staffs are welrained and welbehaved. No as such natural beauty is available and it is very far from the beach. Only veg is not mentioned anywhere so we were unaware about non availability of non veg food. No drinks are allowed. Otherwise veg and jain food is excellent and the restaurants staffs are very helpful.

Total value for money. The Outpost Resort stay was beautiful amidst nature. lovely vegetarian food served. ( No Non-Veg food ) Perfect place start to your holiday trip.. kids loved the rooms & property. Resort management very friendly, cordial , warm , flexible & helpful. Also visited & enjoyed time at Kashid Beach , which is an hour drive from The Outpost.

Awesome place to hangout....... relaxing urself with wide variety of amenities,food is superb,tasty,mouthful.A place to feel relaxed ,rooms r so nice ,a best stay in #alibaug........staff is so co-operative.....cleanliness is gud.best part of resort is 🏊 pool,deck over there.....for couple n family,for group n friends very much affordable.
