Ruturaj Inn

Ruturaj Inn was decent and good. It had a children play area and activity area for carrom, table tennis, etc. there was sufficient parking space. The room was fine, if not very great. it had a living room, bedroom and bathroom. It was spacious enough and we didn't feel claustrophobic. My 3 yo dottie had space to play and run around. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner, but it was ok. Room service was slow, we had to follow up for stuff. There is option to dine at in house restaurant or have food in room. Since the summer heat was extreme, we preferred to eat in our rooms. The slowness was compensated by the good food. It was tasty and less spicy as we wanted it to be. The non veg items were nicely prepared by the cook. Chicken lollipop was found worth a try and can be enjoyed with drinks (if any), since there was limited fish variety, we couldn't experiment much. However, the Pomfret fry and bombil fry were good and are worth a try.There is a power generator to take care of the power outages, however on our last day during checkout it broke down. so the heat was unbearable. The other main advantage is its closeness to varsoli Beach which is less than a km away ie 5 min by car or 15 min by walk. Varsoli Beach is very much cleaner, peaceful and enjoyable Beach.Since we traveled by ferry, the resort is 40 min away ( 20 km) from the mandwa jetty port. Overall, it's a good budget resort which can be made better by better room service and bit more cleaner rooms.Food, Hotel premises, spacious roo, closeness to varsoli Beach

We booked 3 rooms in Feb 2017 and found it to be great vale for money given that each room is like a suite with a seating area with sofa set and TV and a bedroom with a wardrobe. It is a 5 minute walk from Varsoli beach which is not very happening, but very clean compared to Alibag beach (10 minute drive away) which is a total mess. At Varsoli beach one can do a Buggy scooter ride for 100 bucks. And Jet Ski ride for 300 bucks. Food at Ruturaj was very tasty. The Zunka Bhakri was awesome, especially the rice bhakris. Non vegetarians should go for the prawn masala and the Gavthi chicken handi. The staff is courteous and helpful. The swimming pool was clean but the max depth is just 4 feet. Improvement suggestions for Ruturaj Inn: - Please put actual hand wash in the dispenser and not soap water. - The Reception and Restaurant phones need to be managed better as we found them unanswered often - Please have some floats and toys in the swimming pool, especially for kids

Hotel is 2 kms from city centre and 1 km away from varsoli beach, this hotel is worth staying. Auto takes 50 rs to reach here. Considering the overall high pricing for hotels in and around Alibaug, this hotel seems worth the money. Rooms are very spacious with separate sitting and separate bedroom. Bathroom is huge. Very clean and well maintained rooms. It's a small property with limited rooms and has a calm and peaceful ambience. Restaurant serves tasty food. Staff is courteous and friendly. Amenities include swimming pool which at the backside of Ruturaj Inn (i prefer that since it gives privacy) , it's well maintained. This is amongst the very few places in Alibaug which provides 2 wheeler rental service to its guests. Rate is reasonable abs on per hour basis. Since we didn't have a vehicle, this was a boon for us. Overall a good hotel and nice getaway from the city.

Had been to this place on 3rd aug 2016 was looking for a budget stay in Alibaug with decent amenities and that was when i came across this hotel on goibibo. Thanks to goibibo for giving us promotional discount on the booking and frankly speaking didnt expect hotel to be so good... My first impression when i went through Ruturaj Inn online was that it is a so so hotel but i actually went and stayed there i was quite surprised. We hd stayed in room a4 it had a living room bedroom and a bathroom and to my surprise the rooms were quite spacious with a outdoor seating attached to the bedroom also the rooms and the toilet were spik and span... They have a restaurant of their own and room service is available... Staff is also friendly n room service is prompt and the accessibility from Ruturaj Inn to beaches and market n restaurants is also good. Overall had a pleasant stay...

Visited Alibag with my family and stayed in the standard suit room. Everything is great about this hotel- 1. Large, neat and clean rooms 2. Highly courteous and friendly staff who are ready to help you with all they can - (The thing that impressed me the most) 3. Great food and amazing taste at absolutely reasonable price. All the Packed items sold at MRP which is the best thing you could ask for. 4. Well maintained Swimming pool for family and kids alike 5. Had asked for some additional room items such - which were promptly provided. Even though this place might not have a 5 star hotel ambiance, but the location, friendly staff and perfect facilities made the stay just perfect for me, better than some of the 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Would definitely visit it again and recommend this place to everyone. Its a 5/5 place for me.

Easy to locate, value for money resort. Alibaug trip couldn't have been any much better than this resort. Easy to locate, beach is located just 5 minutes away. AC premium 1BHK rooms are of good quality, toiletries provided, clean bed & linen, clean large bathrooms, the rooms have a living room area with sofa, coffee table and LCD TV. Free parking, access to the pool(till 6pm) and garden area. WiFi complimentary available. Overall- great value for money resort for family, friends and couples. In-house restaurant is good. Travelled as a couple. Staff was very welcoming and allowed to us to check-out 1hour later than 12noon check-out timing as we had checked-in bit late. Will definately go again as the place is beautiful and peaceful surrounding, staff behavior is very welcoming. Thanks Goibibo for the last minute deal (GoStays).

Excellent place to spend a weekend with family and friends. Clean rooms with good amenities. Friendly service. Decent food. However, what really stands out is what I'm going to mention...One of my family members, an old lady faced a medical emergency at midnight.. Alibag being an unknown place for us, we were really very very tense...but here, Ruturaj Inn staff was extremely helpful and helped take the patient to a local hospital. They even spent a good part of the night with us at the hospital. At 2am Ruturaj Inn owner Mr. Karlekar called to ask If any help was required. Next day again they visited the hospital to enquire about her health. This gesture was extremely touching, hats off to the sensitivity and care displayed.. That's konkani hospitality for you.. Three cheers...

I had visited Ruturaj inn with my wife and my 1 yr old daughter and following are my pros and cons of this resort Pros 1) Spacious and clean suite with all the amenities such as Tata sky (all channels working), AC, toiletries. 2) Very near to varsoli beach (5-10 mins walk or 2-3 mins drive) 3) Good service 4) Good lawn, clean swimming pool, games and games equipment for kids. (even a small tricycle for small kids) 5) Helpful and courteous staff (right from reception to housekeeping to room service) Cons 1) Food is bit on salty side. 2) No juices in breakfast buffet 3) Check out time is too early (10.00 am), though they allowed us to check out late by 11 am Our overall experience was very good and we look forward to visit this resort again with our relatives

Through goibibo got a good deal of 2 nights in Ruturaj Inn...hotel is within 1km from alibagh market & situated in pleasant surrounding...varsoli beach is just 400 mtrs from hotel, alibaug @ 1.5 km, nagaon around 12 kms & kashid @ 35 km...hotel strictly follows their rules, we were 1.5 hrs before the check-in time and had to wait at the reception...break fast was ok & repetitive throughout 3 days...We tried veg lunch & food was very tasty...room service was ok and they have scope for improvement...ample of car parking...well maintained swimming pool...staff is very friendly and helpful...Ruturaj is best accommodation option in alibaug & strongly recommended

I just randomly visited this place once and loved staying here. This time it was my 2nd visit. I so love this place. It's just like a home atmosphere here. The owner is damn good and supportive. The staff will go the extra mile for you, if you ask. :) The rooms are very peaceful, just what one looks out for, when away from the city's hustle bustle. The swimming pool is good, but again is crowded on weekends. The nearest beach is Varsoli beach which isn't that great. If you have time, do visit the Kihim Beach it's a clean and a much better beach than rest. Im surely gonna come back to stay at Ruturaj Inn. As it's my 1st and last choice at Alibag.

had a very pleasant stay here !! the service was great, food was yummy but don't know why i came across a lot of bad reviews for the food. i totally loved it. the whole setup of the place was amazing too with clean, nice and spacious rooms. the bathrooms where clean too. they even had bikes available on rent even though i didnt take one due to not having a driving liscence. not to forget the guys at reception, they where very helpful and soft spoken. everytime i wouke be in alibaug this would be my go to place. ruturaj inn !! u rock, keep up the good work and i'll be back soon.

It was a nice experience. Service was very good,everything at doorstep. It has made our vacation more enjoyable and awesome. Staff was very co-operative. one incident: we had to leave at 7:00 AM morning next day so we wanted our breakfast at 6:30 AM(very early,I know). And the breakfast timing was starting from 8:00 AM. So we requested them to provide it at 6:30 AM. They arranged 1 cook for us to prepare a breakfast and thus,provided it in time. Thanks to Ruturaj Inn. Will definitely refer to others. Its a bit pricey but goCash has reduced few amount. Its worth a money.

I have visited this property on 24th Dec19 with my family. we had two days stay. i drove in my car from Mumbai to Alibaug.Ruturaj Inn is located at convenient location, its close from highway. It has ample car parking facility. Varsoli Beach is at 10min walking distance from hotel. Ruturaj Inn is small but the rooms are very spacious it's almost 1 BHK. The rooms and toilets were clean. The Bathroom was very big but it's lighting was dim. Also the balcony were provided to limited flats. Overall it was a good stay. The buffet facility provided by hotel is also good.

Enjoyed alot, calm and nice place to stay. hotel rooms were spacious and clean, 2 beaches are near to Ruturaj Inn Alibugh and Varsoli. if you are planning to visit Khim, Nagaon, Kashid this is not the right hotel to choose as it is situated very far from hotel and rickshaws are charging 1200 for return journey from kashid. Nagaon is also far around 10 km. prefer to take your own car or bike. Beaches are almost empty on weekdays. But overall good place to get relaxed holidays

Me and my wife had a very pleasant stay at Ruturaj inn, the staff was very courteous especially pooja and Rajesh, the place was easily accesible and was quite neat and clean, rooms were spacious, complain response time and resolution was excellent, food was good at reasonable price and adequate quantity, swimming pool was clean, Overall a very good experience, would like to stay again and recommend to friends and families, excellent for couples and families

Quite decent place to stay with family. Nice and clean rooms with a extra drawing room and a large bathroom. Nice surrounding and 10 min walking distance to a nice and clean varsoli beach. in house restaurant also good with a very nice and coordial staff. Special mention for reception staff and Manas from room service/restaurant team Safe place to stay. Large spacious rooms, small garden for kids with a small but nicely maintained swimming pool.

Very nice & calm place in Alibaug. Versoli beach is near by this hotel. Food is delicious. Avalaible rooms are also nice n specious.Property is at a very convenient location and everyone and hospitality of all hotel staff members is very good. Only one point needs improvement that the bedding is very hard and needs to be softer. Else a very good experience. They allowed us to checkout 2.5 hrs late without any issues. Love to visit Again :)

It's a bungalow type apartment which is turned into hotel. hotel has swimming pool as well & varsoli beach is only 2min distance we have ordered food but that is not upto the mark because we thought that aagri masala chicken is proper aagri style but it was not.. masala tea is good Overall good experience above the expectations Will suggest you to stay in hotel but have your food in local dhaba which is present near beach.

Ruturaj Inn was an accidental find on Goibibo and I was a bit apprehensive till I reached Ruturaj Inn. However, my experience, right from check in to checkout was wonderful. Located in greenery, merely 10 mins from Varsoli beach, this resort offered the perfect balance of relaxation, privacy and tranquility. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The food was amazing too. Looking forward to visiting again!!

A good 4 out of 5. The rooms were good, clean. The bathroom too was clean and tidy. The food we ordered was really good. The staff and members were good with communication, polite and cheerful. The small garden area and small pool at the backyard were a good place for recreation. The location of the resort is near to the beach which is a plus point. All in all it was a good stay, satisfied! Good for family!
