this is the best place to stay in kodaikanal. all the rooms are valley/mountain view. view from sama farms is incomparable to any other hotel or view point. hospitality is second best thing about stay. owners/caretakers are extremely helpful and they take care of every minute details to make our stay comfortable. if u r in kodai, please do stay here for peace of mind. loved the stay.

nice and calm place but the road to this place is in worst condition if you have a offroad vehicle than it won't be a problem

Overall experience is outstanding. Staff were friendly. Located far away from city but since I wanted it like that so it is good for me. Breakfast and Lunch was complimentary. Service was good.

Good views from rooms.But following points need to be considered.
1.Location is very interior(3km from centre). Roads are very bad & damages & many vehicles got strucked up to climb(if rains it will get worst).
2.Wi-Fi is not worked throughout our stays.
3.No full time hotwater facilities.
4.Food availability is very difficult. If dinner need you have to inform morning itself to prepare.No restaurants in and around.
5.NO MOBILE SIGNALS(AIRTEL, VODAFONE) ALSO NO WIFI..

This is Avery scenic place about couple of Kms from the lake. the approach road is a bit difficult, but the location makes up for it. The hosts are very hospitable and the food is nice. Give this place a try in case you love mother nature in its full glory.
