Silvanus Forest Retreat

Except for the location of this hotel which is way too inside and the road is extremely bad, all the other things were superb! the best thing was the service, food quality, our cottage and the staff. especially Mr Basu, always go and ask for him. he is the manager there and will go to any limits to give you the best service. It's a good place for a weekend kind of get away. nearest beach is Nagaon. for Alibag you might have to drive for more than 45 minutes. but if you go there plan to just stay inside and enjoy in nature's lap because the food is simply superb there. try to book through goibibo as they give good discount and then it feels value for money.

The entrance road to this place is pathetic.. 1.5 kms of mud/stone road without any street lights.. However as this place is away from the main road it literally is inside a jungle surrounded by trees which is just fantastic.. Its very calm and quite and rejuvenating.. The whole place beautifies due to rain and night lights.. Pool is ok.. Food is exorbitant price but not much options nearby.. Not much variety but good quantity and even Jain food available.. Breakfast is pretty average.. Spa out of service and does not seem to be opening anytime soon.. Check in check out smooth.. Recommended for a day or two visit

The resort is on the way to revdanda beach at a hill top. Rooms are speciaous and attractive.Hotel staff is well trained and polite. There are lot of trees with in the resort and offer lot of greenary. property is quite big and they also have small plant nursery. swimming pool is clean . The only issue is the road from the main road to the resort which is really bad. also restaurant is quite expensive although food quality is good.

Very nice experience.. We stayed in the resort's Fern Club rooms.. Rooms are well maintained and cosy.. Customer service staff was very welcoming and prompt to our requirements.. the only minus point will go to the caretaker/manager who could not arrange sufficient staff (considering the peak time) because of which the lunch/dinner was delayed hence dismaying most of us.. Rest everything was nice.. Had fun time in the swimming pool.

It was a very nice experience. we had small kids with us and hotel provided customized food for them. we booked winter green room.Room was very nice and clean. Staff was very curtious and food was good. Room window had gap between wall and window.. so room was very cold because of that. Also, people were not using swimwear while using swimming pool so was not feeling hygienic. Should make it compulsory.

Rooms are nice. Clean and nit and specious. Staff is polite. The place is actually amazing and very peaceful with lot of greenary. So many varieties in breakfast. Revdanda beach is 2.5 km from this resort. This resort is located far away from main road; to reach there you need personal vehicle and the roads are not well maintained in addition to it there is no street lights. Food is costly.

For me, helpful staff, good hygene and remote location were the scoring factors. Revdanda and Kashid beach were close by enabling us to make a quick visit. Weak Mobile signals and absence of wifi connectivity at room was an issue. However, I was okay with the same. Hence it wont affect my review. Overall, a Perfect stay with good food and perfect amenities at an isolated place.

The property was peaceful, the rooms were good, everything in the room was perfectly functional. We had taken a breakfast and dinner package and the food was very tasty and hygienic. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Mr. Ahmed and Rohan were. great support. Cons- There should have been some indoor activities and Silvanus Forest Retreat is in interiors.

Simply awesome Food. Staff in restaurant is very accomodating. But please opt for total food package while booking rooms. It is like a Jungle Resort 😂. Saw Monkey's, Snake, lizard, Frog, Birds of different types. Overall nice experience. Close to Revdanda beach and fort. Away from city hustle bustle. Rooms were okay. Hot water available 24 hours

Excellent stay!! Very clean and Hygienic!!! Best part is the owner who is so involved in every activity!! He makes sure to interact with you personally and making the stay comfortable!! Very nice quite place and isolated from the city!! nnRecommended for people looking out to spend quality time! nnFood also good and good spread !!

awesome place . away from the hustle and bustle of city life. close to the mountains . quiet calm peaceful. staff is well mannered as well. prompt service. food quality is also good. thanks to Mr Hrishikesh Patwardhan (general manager) who helped right from the time of booking until the time of checkout. Will surely visit again.

Best is the cottage structure that they have .Rooms are clean though the washroom needs makeover little here and there .Staff cordial .Breakfast was average . Location is little interior but that gives a hilly forest feel ,serene ,away from the urban chaos . Equidistant to all beaches. Overall decent experience.

This hotel is located between the trees and you will feel as you are living in forest. There is so much greenery nearby. nice rooms and service. Food is excellent in taste and quality. Better to book dinner when you stay here as you may not be finding good restaurants near by. Worth taking full package here.

Resort is bit inside from main road around 600 meter where road is not good at all. You need to have your vehicle if you are staying there. Food is awesome but not with authentic flavors. They can add some more gaming facilities as currently they only have carrom which was also not in good condition.

Best stay in alibag staf Is very polite n helpful n surrounding is nxt level best room is also excellent just this app update hairdryer is not available at room an ever thing is good superb stay. Best service they provid n all staf are good i love to stay again as soon as possible

The resort is well maintained and super clean. Also the rooms are pretty good. It makes you feel closer to the nature. Drinks are cheap. Didn’t like the food at all had a very bad experience with it however the management looked into it. So overall it was a good experience...

We enjoyed our stay at silvanus during early July. Approach road for the resort was flooded as it was raining heavily but the resort rooms and amenities were good. Food and breakfast were average, staff is good and helpful. Overall experience was good and enjoyable.

Hotel was very good in terms of location , amenities and cleanliness. Rooms were new and well maintained . Food was also good but still improvement can be done in Food Menu. Hotel has lot of mango trees inside and hence maintains cool in summers also.

very good experience of stay ,food can be better but a very good location ,good staff, parking should be kept only at parking for everyone else it becomes a rush without reason, but worth a visit ,very nice location, very peaceful ,nicely maintained
