Visited Lalit Mumbai last weekend. had some issues when i visited in feb 2016 so i wrote a review about my experience and the problems i faced. few days later i received a call from hotel and was asked about the issue and was apologized and assured zero problems on my next visit. so again i made a booking for 4 days with family and the same was noted by The Lalit Mumbai staff. and i must say i was surprised to my extreme. each and every issue i had on my earlier visit was taken care of perfectly and efficiently. i got a special welcome back by the customer relations manager herself and even got an express check in and a nice and warm welcome. this i what we expect from a 5 star hotel that they deliver the best to their customers and lalit mumbai did it perfectly. my review could have been ignored cos it was not a big issue and lalit mumbai would have hardly been affected by it but still they are concerned about even small issues that are faced by their guests and a willing to rectify it. this is what that has taken me by a surprise. to nearly boycotting lalit mumbai due to my first stay i was forced to change in making lalit mumbai my permanent destination on my every mumbai visit due to their perfect hospitality on my second visit. i am simply overwhelmed by their service and hospitality provided to me and it was 300% more than i expected. also the nicest thing i like about lalit is they keep our indian culture alive. each and every staff you pass you will be greeted by a warn namaste by them. something i didnt find i many 5 star hotels. even while dining the staff always ask you about the quality and taste of the food. even the head chef came all the way to inquire about the food quality and if anything is needed. this shows how dedicated is the staff to ensure that you get the best service. and finally a special mention to Miss Ruby Sanu The Lalit Mumbais guest relations manager. she is the only reason and only because of her response to my issue i booked lalit mumbai again and it was her hospitality and dedication that she made our stay a memorable one. she took care of each and everything personally for my stay and her hospitality is the biggest reason lalit mumbai is my favorite destination now and i am already planning a long 7 day stay again. Thank you so much Ruby ma'am for a wonderful and absolutely perfect stay and changing my opinion about lalit hotels. Thank you lalit mumbai for taking care of the slightest issues faced by your guest seriously.. That's what makes you perfect. hope to see you soon.

The first thing that hits you is the lobby of The Lalit Mumbai,which is majestic and tasteful. Includes a wonderful metal sculpture from the well known artist Satish Gujaral. A live piano in the evening sets a nice mood. The room we had wasn't pool facing and did not have a view to speak of. There was a sort of mini balcony outside the room but the door was sealed off. It has a very low parapet so can't even call it a balcony. The room is on the smaller side and shows some signs of ageing. The bathroom was well appointed with a bathtub to top it all. There's no major issue, except there's a bit of noise from the popular night club at the Lobby Level whenever somebody opens the soundproof door of the club. Maybe an issue if you're a light sleeper. The club itself, Kitty Su, is top notch and one of the hottest in the city. Entry for resident guests is free till 11:30 PM. It carries forward the standards of the legendary Kitty Su of Delhi. Food was absolutely wonderful though few of the items are expensive, even if compared to other 5 stars. Tried only one Restaurant, The Baluchi. Dal Makhani is rich, temperate & authentic, something that's quite rare in Mumbai where every dish is usually accompanied by an overpowering assault of spices, thereby losing its soul. All in all, a good stay. Rates alongside Leela and ITC Maratha as good option near the airport. Should be your first choice if you want to enjoy Kitty Su.

As I had rated in all manner it is quite ok but cleanliness in room was not good at all when I entered first in my room it was full of the smell of smoking after that I asked to spray the room freshener but no one came for it so I had to adjust with smell. After that I saw the room floor which is wooden floor but there are too many cracks on the floor. When I saw the table where water bottles and glass putted there is only one glass even we are two persons in the room I asked to room attendant about this he answered me that this is The Lalit Mumbai policy which is not good. on second day after cleaning the room in my absence I called the sweeper again to clean the floor. Thus I am confused that this is a five star property or what.

Superior ambience at the lobby greeted by the warm welcome of friendly and courteous staff. Excellent location for business travelers who have tight schedules catching the next flight. Would rate 5 stars for the service quality at The Lalit Mumbai, bar and in-room dining. They lag a little behind in cleanliness, which we would expect highly from a 5 star rated hotel. My specific issue was with The Lalit Mumbai bedding where the mattress seemed low quality, which brought back my back pain issues with a three night stay. I had to call the room service two times to get the stinky sweat smelling pillows. Inside the room, I would rate a three star facility. In room dining was exorbitantly high (eg. paying 1,100 rupees for an omelet).

The room was spacious and had all the amenities expected from a 5-star. The bathroom had a bathtub which is difficult to get in the city at this price point. Much appreciated! The Lalit Mumbai was able to arrange for a complimentary late check-out without any hassle. The place, staff, and room were all brilliant. We had the breakfast buffet which was less than satisfactory. The desserts, baked goods seemed stale and flat, the tea was surprisingly bad (we didn't expect something as basic and necessary as tea to be bad), there was a long wait for cutlery, and absolutely no vegan options including basic oat/soy/almond milk for coffee/cereal. Hoping that it is something that can be improved coz the rest of the stay was delightful.

deal all I stay with family on 18th really nice hotel, all staff too much good. really unforgetable experiance. It was a nice experience to stay with the lalit. Staff was very courteous and upgraded our room, Food was served in room due to covid guidelines but was good in taste and portions. Breakfast was also good with variety but swimming pool was very very dirty. Since pool was not in use so we hadn't used but it was looking very bad during breakfast. I suggest hotel team to clean pool and aside area and put a board mit in use. Else everything was awesome. They have a awesome reception and lobby bigger than a park.. with great interiors. Was very helpful in my meetings with clients.

Overall Experience was great and lavish! Had only come for a weekend getaway and got just what we wanted! However, the Breakfast Buffet could have been better and had to wait alot. The AC was not cooling at first, so advised as a must to check the AC before alloting the room. The staff was very courteous! Loved the Ambience! There was no hassle in checking in! Staying in Navi Mumbai can be boring mostly and had come all the way here for a weekend getaway! There were no judgements and had a very relaxing weekend! Loved it! Will come back again definitely!

It was a Great experience and lovely happy stay at Lalit , Mumbai. The Lalit Mumbai was spic & clean and covid-19 safe. All prevention & care was taken by the very courteous staff. The staff hospitality is very good and made us happy. Yes, The Breakfast spread was very good and tasty. The live counters were serving us hot food with love. We stayed at The Lalit Mumbai to celebrate my wife's birthday and had an overall awesome experience. The staff was courteous and when we made a complaint about AC not working properly, they immediately gave us a new room without any hassles. They also sent a nice birthday cake for my wife which was truly special. The room was spacious and bathroom was absolutely clean. Though on the higher side in terms of cost, would definitely recommend this hotel. Their breakfast buffet is amongst the top 10 in Mumbai for sure.

The staff at the reception (Surprisingly) is the main reason why i would not give them a full 5. And when i checked out they forgot to include the money i had already paid. If i hadn't checked they would have simply charged me double. I wish they were a little more free with their wifi, you don't have any option but to buy, even if you are sitting in the cafe. The staff otherwise, especially at Baluchi and 24/7 was excellent. Their rooms are nice spacious and clean, washrooms are well equipped.

We stayed at the Lalit for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience there. The rooms, the decor, hygiene, the courtesy of staff was all very good. Best part of our stay was that they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a suite for 3 nights of our stay. The food was also nice. The only part I felt was a little cumbersome was the distance of the pool to the steam rooms. That walk is pretty long down an alley. In summary, it was a beautiful stay and we enjoyed it. Done

Great experience. due to water logging I could not go in the city and near airport I have selected this hotel. and really no regrets after coming to The Lalit Mumbai.Front desk staff immediately took care of my getting check in. Mornig breakfast was great. near airport. so no hurry in cheing in & check out. and can rush to airport. very good breakfast so you dont have to spend more time to select and order and wait to receiver .

It's a nice property, a little old but still nicely maintained. The rooms are spaceous and decently furnished. You won't get a feeling of luxury but still rooms are comfortable and cosy. Staff is very warm, courteous and efficient. You get a good feeling staying there. The location being very close to International airport is convenient but mostly you will find very chaotic traffic in the vicinity of The Lalit Mumbai.

It was a pleasure staying at this Brand new property, which is 5 minutes from Airport. Nice hotel with excellent food and service. They offer complementary fruit, chocolates and coffee in the room. Breakfast is good and you can choose: Indian, continental, etc. Also the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Overall the experience was brilliant and amazing. Centrally located n very close to Airport.

Superb Hotel, Superb Staff. According to me, its worth booking at around ****price point for the regular room. Pool, room and bathroom is perfect. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes a luxury stay and a super courteous staff hospitality. The Lalit hotel stands as per expectation as always . Checking in process was smooth and quick assignment of room . Neat n clean and fully equiped room. Though it gives a bit older look but furnitures are well maintained. Bery nice pillows and beddings.Breakfast is wide spreaded and full of tasty varities. Spa service also was awesome. Will recommend to all kind travellers
