Best resort in alibag. completely worth for pricing. They have maintained property so neatly. Class amenities in premises. since you enter in premises you will be greeted well. Best hospitality I have ever seen In U-TROPICANA. First of all traditional dressing of staff feels you more comfortable. Each and every staff is extreme​ polite and professional. They talk with smile. Rooms are super clean and specious. All rooms have pool facing balcony.we stayed in ground floor. you can easily go to pool from balcony. Room toilets are so clean. They provide amazing toiletries and bathing soap with different fragrance flavors.Digital safe is available in closet. Bathrobe provided in closet. Complete information book available inside room. Fully loaded Mini bar provided in room(only two cold drinks were complementary on check in day).coffee maker available. Hair dryer provided.Swimming pool is super clean and clear. It is not so deep (2ft to 5ft). For children baby pool section available. They have maintained landscaping & trees well. Restro bar bar is located beside of pool you can enjoy the view of pool with drinks. Music is good in restro area. cycles are available free of charge for roaming inside property. Indoor games are available like carom billiards. Spa and gym are chargeable. food is awesome it is quite costly but when you get good taste in such remote location it is worth to pay. Dining staff is very polite they suggest you good menu. They greet you well when you enter the dining area. We booked with breakfast. Breakfast was awesome. Tremendous type of food in breakfast. You would get confused what to eat. It was like continental breakfast with Indian food. It was pleasant stay in U tropicana nothing to improve. They are already doing well. It is luxurious type of resort in such remote location. Kihim beach is around 3 kms from hotel but you will not needed to see beach, resort is really beautiful than beach.

Had a pleasant experience staying in Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug surrounded with green cover except for room service issues. Pros: 1. Beautiful property and well maintained. 2. Nice restaurant with tasty food. Breakfast spread is simply amazing. Lunch/Dinner menu is good. 3. Spacious rooms with good view of Swimming pool. 4. Unique feature of Bicycles available to roam around the property for both Adults and kids. 5. 4 Kms from Kihim Beach and 10 Kms from Alibaug beach. 6. Good amenities and nice swimming pool. Cons: 1. 1.5 km away from main road. So, having own transportation will be better. 2. No ala-carte available in restaurant. Same has to ordered in-room only. Only buffet available in restaurant. 3. Bicycles available need maintenance as seats/brakes of many are not in good condition. 4. Room service is very slow. We had ordered dinner and told waiter to come after 30 mins to clear the plates. He did not come. We called room service for the same. Still no one came till 15 mins. On second reminder call, the plates were cleared after 10 mins. 5. Another incident we ordered in-room dinner the next day. Our order came in 30 mins(expected time) and we were having dinner. After 10 mins, an attendant came asking to check our order as food ordered by another guest was having 1 dish less and he needed to inspect our order. This was simply bizarre and very insulting. Apart from this room service issue, property is beautiful with good amenities like - carom, snookers. It has Library and SPA also which we did not use. We enjoyed in the pool also. Recommend ground floor rooms as it has stoned pathway to pool though all rooms have swimming pool view.

Awesome stay at Tropicana Resort and Spa,great Ambience and Cleaniness.Everything from view, breakfast spread, kids activity center, play area, swimming pool was awesome.The Royal Villa was great ,comfortable and was cleaned twice a day. Nothing to crib about.A 4* Hotel with 7* Amenities. The staff were super helpful specially the Manager Mr Jitendra Tripathi at the front desk is a fantastic person ready to help always.A big Salute to the whole team, really enjoyed the stay there .All the staff of Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug does ensure that the hospitality is maintained throughout. Thats visible right from the entrance gate , reception, restaurants ,cleaning staff , kids play area ,swimming pool, etc. Everyone seemed very well trained and everyone carries their signature smile which is infectious.l would highly recommend the visitors ,be it families or business meetings, to expect the best .Thank you team Tropicana and Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug Management for ensuring that the culture and Hospitality which is embodied across the pyramid. I will be visiting Tropicana again in near future and would suggest people to go and experience the same.

The overall experience was very good. However they lack maintenance in some places, for e.g the trashcan in the room 109 was broken. Walls are peeling off. Service was slow in the restaurant. Most disappointingly, on 29 Oct night I ordered a chicken pasta for room service, what I received was a completely no trace of chicken pasta.They had a buffet going on in the garden/pool side that day. We were not informed about that during booking. We went to see the menu but decided to order room service. I did not complain that night as the order I received was after 4th reminder to the kitchen and I was unsure how long I might have had to wait for them to come to see. Moreover by the time my daughter was too hungry and too sleepy. I preferred to feed her than to wait and show them the dish. However I mentioned that the next morning at the check out. Though the continental dish they made were really delicious......with chicken or no chicken. The behavior of each and every staff was very polite, and pleasing. Everything they did was with a smile. I will visit the property again.

Utropicana is a fantastic getaway in Alibaug. Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug is a bit away from the actual Alibaug market (about 10-12 kms away) 20 mins drive. But that's the best part about it. It is located near the Chondi Village and has a beautiful mountain range surrounding it. The drive from Mumbai is fantastic with awesome picturesque locations. Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug is very well maintained by courteous staff. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Most rooms face the poolside so there is no partiality of anyone getting a better view. The breakfast served includes continental as well as Indian; with an additional wide variety of fresh cut fruits, juices, cheese and crackers, cold cut salads, nuts and tea cakes. Lunch & Dinner are mostly on Al a Carte (if Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug is not fully occupied). Food for 2 people could damage pockets by about 600-700 (including taxes). The Chicken Kalimirch (not on their Al a Carte menu) goes fantastic with Cheese Naans. If you are in Alibaug cant give UTropicana a miss. Fantastic Food, Location & Hospitality.

Room was good, security up to the mark, food is good, property is five star with all amenities. Property is inside and approach road is too bad. Its 10 km far from alibag and varsoli beach took almost 25 mins to reach there from hotel Bar service is also good. Spa voucher given but not helpful as spa was full of booking the day we arrive and next day got appointment at the time of checkout. One thing bothered a lot is no one is ready to help as a human in the property including receptionist,manager, bell boy and security. Asked for the help to give hand to change spare tyre of my car as vehicle tyre got flat in overnight stay. Self has managed to change it with the help of the driver of other car who was there and came to help. Everyone in the staff was busy in their day duty activity but manager or reception not bothered to send a perosn to help me. Except this the stay was good a experience including breakfast.

U Tropicana is a fantastic luxury resort in Alibaug. The resort property is good and vast. Almost all rooms are pool facing. They have maintained the property well. The quality and taste of food is also good. Our check-In Check out was hassle free. Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug rooms are nice and spacious. If anyone wants to just laze out and spend time in hotel, this is a good option as they have swimming pool, bicycles for internal rides, pool table, library and few more indoor games. Table Tennis definitely needs a replacement. This resort is closer to Kihim Beach. The approach road was in bad shape, probably because we went just after monsoons. The toiletries were missing when we checked In and we had to actually call house keeping staff for the same. And i think some of the guest faced similar issue. Thus hotel staff should ensure that everything is in place, before a guest checks in.

We stayed at this property on 27th July 2015. The biggest issue was to locate this property as it is too inside, better if you have an own vehicle. Once we reached the place, we had no qualms about it. The property is spread over acres and has a huge pool. The best part about the rooms is that all of them are pool facing. We had chosen to stay in the upper floor room. The rooms on the ground floor have direct access from the pool area, good for families travelling with elderly and children. Though the property has a cycling track, the cycles aren't in a good condition. Since, we didn't have our own vehicle and had come here for a night; we had no option other than having all our meals at their in-house restaurant. I must say the food here is excellent. Though it has a small menu (barely 2 pages), we enjoyed everything what we ordered. The breakfast buffet was good too. Overall, a great stay!

A wonderful stay for two nights. We were a family of 3. We had taken the Club Pool, which had a private pool, with 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and a small sit out, with the private garage. It was great holiday, the staff was cordial, courteous, efficient too in handling the guests and their demands. The rooms were neat, clean and sanitized regularly. The cleaning staff was very good. Social distancing norms were being followed too. During breakfast, they had divided and allotted time for the breakfast, so that social distancing could be followed. Some guests were given breakfast in the rooms. All in all a very good experience. It is recomended to go for the Club Pool category to enjoy the private pool. In case the group is big, then take the Royal Villa Category, to ensure the property amenities are utilised to the fullest and social distancing is also followed.

Good couple of nights break from Covid. Decent covid measures taken by Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug. car is sanitised from the outside when we enter. I couldn't understand what's the use of doing that though. Sanitizers are kept at places. Staff wears masks more often than not. Property is decently big. Rooms are big and clean. Corner rooms specially are big. Every room has the same view. swimming pool facing. Rooms have balconies with chairs to sip your coffee while enjoying the morning. They have bicycles which one can use whenever they want. Cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, hammock, snooker, chess. Lawn is big so you can plan your own games. Food is nice. Breakfast buffets have nice variety. Not many restaurants located closeby. Nearest beach is Kihim beach. 3 kms away. 10 mins drive max. Overall a pleasant stay. It's close to Kihim beach

AMAZING! One of the best experiences in an Indian resort. Super courteous & helpful staff & they helped my wife plan a super special birthday surprise for me! Special mention for Prasad and Prathamesh from the staff. Prathamesh had coordinated with my wife to get all preparations in place for the surprise & Prasad was just unbelievably good as he decorated the space with his colleagues and waited the table for us till the clock struck 12 to wish me birthday and tirelessly clicking our photos, sending the champagne to our room, wishing me again in the morning at the breakfast table. We booked the resort to go and chill and the place is perfect! We didnt leave the resort; enjoyed the spa, pool, gym and the overall property! Super friendly and helpful staff, definitely recommend staying here if you're in Alibaug! 5 stars!

This is one of the best resort in and around Alibaug. Good in all departments. Location - Perfect location to explore famous points or beaches in Alibaug. Nearest beach is Kihim, 3 Kms. Though it takes little longer to reach this resort from Highway...as road is narrow and broken many places....but once you reach your all difficulties taken away by lush green lawns and scenic beauty. Rooms- rooms are very specious and clean. All rooms are swimming pool facing. Food - They have a very good restaurant that also serves in room dining 24*7. Good variety in breakfast and dinner. Food is testy. good options for buffet and al-carte... Ambiance - Very nice , lush green, peaceful and pleasant. loved it. lot of activities to do. Staff- very polite and helpful.

I must say the "U Tropicana" Resort is truly one of the most awesome resorts I have visited in recent times. The resort is well equipped with amenities like swimming pool, pool table, cycling, gymnasium, table tennis and have lush green open grounds surrounded by lot of greenery. The rooms are neat, clean and very spacious! The staff is courteous and are very helpful. The GoIBIBO offers are excellent and I must say without GoIBIBO app I would have never thought of planning such short trips often. My main purpose of the trip was to stay up in the Resort and enjoy the luxury provided and we truly were able to have a great and comfortable experience! I would surely recommend this property to anyone who wants to have peaceful and comfortable stay! Cheers!

The resort is beautiful, well spread out over acres of land, very spacious. All rooms face the pool. Rooms are very spacious almost 300 sq feet, with king size beds, mini fridge n all amenities. They have a free gym, a pool bar, free cycles to ride in the campus, a game room n a spa. Pool is open from 7am - 9pm,swin suits compulsory. Its only 3km from Kihim beach n 10km from Alibaug. Cons - Food at the resort is a bit expensive but u hav options if going in the market n having food at restaurants which are good as well. The billiards/pool table are not maintained, the carpet, pool balls, cue stick n cue ball need to be changed. Overall its a brilliant place to relax n enjoy. Highly recommended to everyone. U will love the resort for sure.

Hello The property was beautiful and the rooms were quite spacious. The food was delicious. The only issue we faced was of service. The service has to be improved quite a bit. The staff need to be more well trained to attend to the needs of the guests on a prompt basis. The staff is too laid back. Many a times my friends and me asked for things and the staff never got back to us. We didn't get a table at the restaurant during lunch time and the manager never called us in spite of saying he will and neither did he apologize about it. We had to keep waiting for our food for 30 to 40 minutes and reminding the staff about the same. So the service can be a lot better. Other than that everything else was amazing and we had a lovely experience.

For the 1st timers to Alibaug..this is located in the Middle of the beach strip..so On 1 hand is d Alibaug beach and other side is the Mandwa beach. Kihim beach from the property is abt 1-1.5 kms. While the entire stretch from Mumbai to Alibaug / Kihim is extremely bad - Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug with its extensive Greens was much soothing to eyes. On the Plus Side: Rooms : Extremely Spacious, Staff : extremely polite and supportive Breakfast (did not try Lunch / dinner) : Good spread from cold cuts meats, Fruits, Eggs counter, Paranthas, South indian, muffins..... On the Flip Side: Pool Policy - 8 AM to 8 PM (scorching heat at 8 AM upto 5 PM) Mosquitos in the rooms...most of the rooms. Lunch / Dinner buffet - extremely high priced

WORTH EVERY PENNY SPENT !!! CONs 1st ( as there are very few of these ) : • LOCATION too FAR, around 11kms from MAIN alibaug city centre & Alibaug Beach • Connecting Road very rough ; hardly they can do anything for that...lol • No Bath-Tub in any of the rooms • Food a bit expensive compared to the quantity served, though it was tasty enough... PROs : • BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY !!! • Well Maintained Rooms, All the rooms have balcony & all of those are POOL FACING !!! • SUPERB POOL, Very Large as well as Neat & Clean • Friendly Staff & Always on their toes to help us out FINAL WORD: Apart from 2-3cons mentioned above, its a worthy 4.5 ☆ Property... Hope to visit again...n that too very soon !!!

Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug is situated near to Kihim beach. Positive: 1)Lots of greenery around and swimming pool is very well maintained. 2) Lavish breakfast 3) Well connected to the main road, but suggest to use GPS. 4) Bicycle provided to ride within Tropicana Resort & Spa Alibaug campus. 5) Lawns are very well maintained. 6) Option for Spa and Gym. 6) Nice food specially Keema Pav and tandoori chicken. 7) Open bar in Lawn Area, nice place to hangout. To be better if 1) Play area for kids. 2) Buffet lunch or Dinner as ala carte prices are bit higher. 3) Sign board to reach to the resort as without GPS you cant locate. 4) improved wifi signal in room

The first rains and we were in Alibag in this superb property. The resort has an excellent location though the approach road is a bit narrow passing through a village but once you are in then its pure delight. The rooms are all pool facing. The bar location just by the pool is amazing. The food was good. The staff is very courteous. The front desk was very welcoming. The rooms are very spacious and neatly maintained. Just everything was perfect and will definitely visit this place again. And will recommend it to others for sure. Can travel with family, as friends or as couple. The resort has something for everyone.

Amazing experience with U tropicana resort!! Property is awesome with luxury specious rooms, nice pool views, staff service is super excellent, thy r very polite and available 24*7. I given surprise to my wife on her birthday by arranging room decoration nd candle light dinner. The whole arrangements ws superb!!! Kudos to hotel receptionist Mayur nd Gitesh for their hospitality nd Pradnesh nd other staffs who served us so well ....nice experience ...good deal nd value for money for this resort ..I stayed 2 night here ..it was full relaxing trip...thanks to hotel staff nd management for their service..
