Can I get a garden room on 16th November for 2 nights on management arrangement's?
Need to check with hotel
I am living in Ahmedabad, but have local id of Jodhpur. Can i book room for me and wife?
Yes you can book with a valid ID (local or outside both are acceptable)
I visited Balsamand Lake Palace, a palatial property by ITC Hotels, with my whole family for 2 nights and what an amazing stay it turned out to be. I had visited this place an year earlier with my wife and we decided to visit it again with our entire family. It is a perfect place for family vacation especially with kids since the place has vast area of garden and greenery and kids can run around and enjoy themselves without any issues. The property is so massive, so majestic that you would sometimes feel whether you are in a hotel or an entire city of its own. What you experience at this place is sheer grandeur and luxury which is unparalleled. The best time to visit WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace is in winters (Nov to Feb) though you can get very good deals in summers since it is off-peak season. The place is a comfortable 20-minute journey from the railway station. One can either take an auto-rickshaw or can book a radio cab through Uber or Ola. We were greeted warmly at the reception and allotted our rooms without much delay. WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace has 2 types of rooms – Garden Rooms overlooking a huge garden and Regal Suites which are located a bit far from the reception area. The Garden Rooms look like they were once horse stables only and have been converted to rooms. WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace has a huge man-made lake which I think is probably the biggest in Asia and the suites are located just overlooking the lake. The lake has seating options and presents a spectacular sight and a very serene environment. The way to the lake crosses a few trees where a lot of raw mangoes can be seen dangling. Plus there are bats as well which can be seen during the day. WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace is a huge property and it is suggested to carry water bottles with you when roaming around and an umbrella especially with kids. It would be great to carry a pram or a stroller for kids who cannot walk since it can become inconvenient to roam around so much. You would come across umpteen number of peacocks whenever you are roaming around plus langoors as well. The place is also frequented to by bird-lovers. WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace has a swimming pool as well where we really enjoyed a lot. The water is not very deep and kids can safely enjoy the water. The property houses many horses and they are kept in a proper stable farm and is open for residents to see and appreciate. Many of the horses are currently used in various races as well. There is a horse cart as well which residents can use to take a ride by paying a fee. WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace also offers bicycles for free to residents and the place is very apt for a ride on the bicycle, with nothing to worry about. You can avail services of a free guide as well who will inform you about each and every horse. The property has its own plantations where vegetables are grown for internal consumption. For dinner, we chose to seat ourselves in their garden where they serve food every night not only for the resident guests but also for outsiders. The whole place looks very good at night with only earthen lamps at your dinner tables and the rest of the area pitched in darkness. Across the garden, one can see the open kitchen and the bar section. It is recommended to try their Lal Maas (mutton), non-veg platter and veg platter. Especially in winters, it is very enjoyable to sit outside in cold weather and savor the smoking-hot tandoori platters. They also offer an option to dine inside the restaurant for those seeking to enjoy the comfort of air-conditioning. If you have kids and you are seated outside, it is better to cover them with clothes completely and put a mosquito patch. However, one thing I would like to mention for improvement is the service which I found particularly lacking this time around. I have visited this place before and even my family has visited it on multiple occasions but this time, the service was really pathetic. If you are asking for something to be done to your room or delivered to your room, it takes a fair bit of time and needs repeated reminders. I asked for the menu to be sent to my room for ordering room service, but that took 2 reminders and 45 minutes. I asked for my room to be cleaned on priority but the actual cleaning did not happen for the next 4 hours as well despite repeated reminders. The room in which my parents were staying had a faulty air-conditioning unit but we had to make repeated calls to the reception requesting for a room change. And finally when I told them that we are not staying in that room at all, only then they agreed for the room change. For a property as grand as this, one expects more on service front. I asked for the apple pie from the restaurant and they said that they would call back and confirm. But no one called back and it again took 2 reminder calls. I ordered veg Thai Red curry but the restaurant sent non-veg curry. Though the chef came and apologized for the same and offered the dish for free, but I found that people were not attentive to minute yet important details. On complaining about all these things to the reception, the person there said that they are a very sought-after hotel and are going on full occupancy and hence, the delay in service is ok. My point is that they are supposed to run WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace with 100% efficiency at 100% occupancy. If they provide 100% efficiency at just 10% occupancy, then their occupancy is actually just 10% only. This was a complete mood-off to listen to and we blasted the guy at the reception. After all this, the general manager of WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace called up to pacify things and I explained to him everything in great detail. And he promised to take care of such things.
I booked "Welcomeheritage Bal Samand Lake Palace" just because of my previous experience with Welcomheritage Group. I have stayed twice at their Jaipur's Traditional Haveli Hotel and I was very satisfied and happy with their service and hospitality. I stayed here at Bal Samand Lake Palace from 11th August to 14th August, 2019. My experience here was superb. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, be its peaceful location or its spread-out well maintained lawns or its well behaved staff, from front desk officer to F & B Manager or room service men. This hotel has very well clean rooms with all the amenities, well maintained pool and a decent restaurant which serves good food. The USP of this Hotel is its location which is on the sides of the Bal Samand Lake and an historical palatial building which is a part of this Hotel. It offers beautiful views of the Lake during evenings and early mornings. I surely recommend this Hotel and would suggest to enjoy this property also as it is a kind of "sight seeing" place in itself in Jodhpur. Don't forget to take a ride in Royal Chariot, it will not disappoint you. I would like to thanks to Mr. Jitender, F & B Manager and his staff for giving personal attention to every guest.
The balsamand heritage hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. The staff are courteous .Apart from spacious rooms they boast of a garden dining area, sprawling lawns(here you can spot peacocks roaming around freely) ,peacock fountain(not operational during this time of the year),swimming pool, buggy & horse rides(extra charge). They offer bicycles to go around the property ( first hour is complimentary after that 100 bucks /hr). You can cycle up to the balsamand lake and spend some hours sitting on the palace ramparts and see the beautiful sunset and feel the cool breeze .This is a place where you can feel very close to nature. Whenever you are in Jodhpur you should definitely stay for a day or two in this lake palace.
Its Heritage hotel , its not 5 star Hotel don't expect 5 star amenities. Its beautiful palace , they (staff) are trying their level best to keep you happy . But its place to relax . Fantastic lake front property , well maintained not as a hotel But a palace, surrounded wih lush greenery , chirp of birds all around. It was very difficult to place ourselves there when we entered property . When we entered it was only us 2 rooms booked in entire palace. dinner in restaurant was OK not great But morning breakfast they made real efforts to satisfy us . Lovely place go and enjoy like Maharaja , may not be as high as Umaid Bhavan palace but its really good
Its slightly overrated. One night is enough for the experience. The staff seems little less. Anything asked for reaches very late. Wifi hardly works. The welcome isn't too great, stayed at the Ajit bhawan palace for two nights and felt the Royalty .. was taken around and shown the palace. Here you are just left to explore yourself. The Breakfast Buffet is very minimal. I'd recommend Ajit Bhawan any day over it. Plus commuting from this place is very very difficult, Uber doesn't work here and the only option is to use the exorbitant Hotel Taxi. Though u see beautiful peacocks and langoors:) . The rooms are average. Nothing very heritage about them.
Absolutely outstanding. The whole experience was totally fulfilling and there's nothing I can find fault with (except the food is pricey, a single tandoori roti is Rs. 116, buffet is okay though at about 1600, the taste is good). You can spend an entire day exploring the resort if you want to and it's enchanting. There's horses, an outdoor swimming pool, a palace and even a private lake. Really, words can't do it justice. It's a resort and a holiday all by itself. The most romantic place ever. The peacocks and the gardens and the waterfall are absolutely marvelous. Must see and stay in Jodhpur.
It is a beautiful heritage property situated on the banks of Lake Bal Samand and fulfils everything it promises off. Staff is courteous, rooms are spacious and well maintained with a palace like feel. Options to spend quality time within the Palace are numerous like cycling, horse riding etc. Breakfast menu has wide range of options and the place serves lunch as well. For dinner we chose the open garden barbecue and it was decent.. They can educate their staff more about the food as they do not know the basics.... Overall an amazing experience and must stay place if we visit Jodhpur again.
Wow is the feeling when you enter the majestic property belonging to the Royal family of Jodhpur. Cozy and very comfortable Rooms. Swimming pool amidst Nature. From Pool you can view Peacocks, Peahens, Squirrels, Parrots, Pigeons, etc. having food at same time. Cycling activity was great as the place is so vast. Early mornings wake up to the calls of Peacocks. Service was nice. Unique experience compared to other 5 star hotels. Palace on Lake is Grand. Property is full of variety of Trees and Birds and Horses, Monkeys, Squirrels, etc.
Awesome Resort. Best part is the Resort has ample empty area which is used in a very good way. Full of Green Nature, Minimum of 50 Peacocks & Dales, Derby Horses, Home of Squirrels, Roaming area for White Monkeys, Many Many more species of Birds. Top of this A Lake for Sunset Point. One can roam around for a full day, No need go to any place for visiting, one has to give minimum of 24 hrs to the Resort to enjoy it. Don't miss the swimming pool. I can go on and on. its beauty can only be judge by seeing it. Enjoy it People.
Wonderful stay with extremely courteous staff. Staying at a 400 year old heritage property with stunning views from all over and this well maintained was a complete delight!! Highly recommend traveler's to stay here for a magical experience ✨ Extremely Warm and friendly experience, with so much to explore at this 60 acre widespread property. We spent time at Bal Samand Lake that offered breathtaking sunset views, swam at the amazing pool, went for the horse ride, ran at the beautiful look of over a kilometre within the property!!!
If you get to see peacocks right when you open your eyes in the morning, there is not much one can add after that. I had an enthralling experience staying at Bal Samand. From the food to the hospitality to the the services provided by WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace , all marks to them for maintaining the standard so high. I would definitely recommend this place to someone who wants stay at a heritage property yet have all the facilities one looks for in best of WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace s.
WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace has very courteous and polite staff. Service exceeds expectations. The best part about WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace is though it's ambience amidst a rich garden and a soothing lake with peacock's coming and playing just in front of your room. Perfect for a quiet weekend getaway with family. The amenities could be better though, like a newspaper in the morning and a mini bar in the room. Overall, a really good place to stay.
If planning to stay with kids, away from regular hustle bustle in the lap of nature with facilities of 4 star hotel, you can't get a better place than this.Huge lawns, with peacocks dancing pretty much thru the day, lake side chit chat sessions & yumamazing food, with well trained & courteous staff to make you feel like a Real Hukum by the end of the stay. We loved it, though its a little away from the city, but ola works pretty well there so should not be an issue.
Had a pleasant stay at WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace in July mid. We were greeted with a welcome drink. Very Beautiful property, Lush green gardens and beautiful orchards, calm and peaceful environment. Perfect resort for couples to spend two or three days during monsoon. Helpful staff and prompt service. Restaurant is good with tasty food and very courteous staff. I would like to suggest management, Garden rooms must have bath tub.
I must say, if there is any place to stay in Jodhpur, then it is Welcome Heritage Bal samand Lake palace. Overall Experience has been fantastic and the property is simply amazing. Its a home away from home and right from service, everything is simply upto mark. Very simple, sobre atmosphere and what else do you want when you are surrounded by nature, singing birds, beautiful environment, well laid dinner at night etc. I just loved it.
beautiful property with around 30 odd rooms.basically this place is slightly out of city but very much reachable. big lake, gardens are few attractions. one can spend full day in WelcomHeritage Bal Samand Lake Palace . there are two type of rooms the one where I stayed is converted into room out of stable but it is really nicely done. the other is in the main building and very expensive not worth it although.
Beautiful property with high standards of service makes this place wonderful. Although We had a 1 night stay here but the experience was amazing. When you have nothing to complain about your stay in a hotel, it shows how well you were treated at all service points. Will surely recommend this for traveller who don't mind staying little away from the city for peace and who want to get close to nature.
royal experience, huge well maitained grounds. lots of beautiful areas to relax and also to walk around. amazing birdlife all around, peacocks roaming the grounds, one of a kind swimming pool.excellent food. special mention about lal maans and kebabs.very prompt and smilling staff all around. all the staff were great.vikram, surinder, sawai at the resturant.dinesh from housekeeping.
a superb, well maintained, giant property. spacious suites with ancient architecture and a huge jacuzzis to swim in is marvelous. splendid hospitality for every guest and a vintage jeep to pick and drop u at ur room. The icing over it was d food.. spare one day whole for relaxing ur senses in d resort. overall the experience was NEXT LEVEL :)
If you want to spend a day with family or want to relax after your hectic day in suncity. this is the perfect location. Food is Awesome. I personally met the chef once I finished my breakfast. Gesture is truly Rajasthani. I was tired of replying Khamma Ghani to their staff. But I loved it. will stay there every time I will Visit Jodhpur.
