Yagappa Heritage Resort

Very comfortable stay @ Yaggapa Heritage Resort I stayed for 3 days days in Yagappa Heritage Resort. Location- The location of this resort is very beautiful and also prime, Its just 150 mtr away from Crockers walk and Bryant Park, Kodaikanal Lake is also very near to resort. Bus stand and market, restaurants are also just on 5-10 min walk able distance. But since Kodaikanal is hill station, you have to climb little bit from resort to come on main road, enough to get your sweat out. When we stayed, weather was foggy. we enjoyed our stay in Yaggappa. Rooms- Rooms are neat and clean, comfortable. Bathroom is big, you will get 24hrs. hot water in room. Also staff will provide you drinking water normal and hot water both. They have children playing area and also.TT table Food- Mine room was booked with breakfast, breakfast was good, regular south Indian, like Idali, dosa, vada, pongal, tea, coffee etc. They did not had master to prepare lunch and dinner so we ordered food from outside sometime, sometime we ate outside near bus stand. Overall stay was very nice, comfortable, enjoyable due to location, weather and due to comfortable room.

First off, the place has a beautiful view of the mountains. And I simply loved the swing set. There are cute rabbits/hares too & a kids' park. Benches are sprawled across the lawn with pits should you want a camp fire. As only two of us were there, we kept to our room only. Early check-in is not an issue, they don't charge extra. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous! Food can be an issue as they only serve beverages & breakfast. We had our dinner outside, lunch too. There are 2 Ros with hot & cold water. The rooms are clean but a bit tiny. Washroom is also clean with exhaust & hot water supply both in the sink & taps. They don't have fans but then it was freaking cold out there! I loved that they let use keep our luggage after check out & we got back at 6pm.They even let us use the restaurant washroom to freshen up before we left to catch our bus.

Yagappa Heritage Resort is located very conveniently and most of the local town facilities etc are within walking distance. Yagappa Heritage Resort is also clean and with many small attractions built in ( sitouts, garden walk etc). The staff is friendly in an aloof manner, and that may be due to the language barrier, as we did not know Tamil, and they are handicapped in english. The BF was simple and clean. Idly was regular, with a variant like Poori or vada etc coming additional every day. The dining room is clean and the staff is very willing to help. But beyond BF, other meals may be a challenge, as it appears to be not a regular running kitchen. We did not try it also. Overall a pleasent experience worth repeating again for a family.

very nice place for family stay.location is very comfortable since lake ,coakers walk and bryant park are very close and at walkable distance.The staff is very courteous and the room boys are very sincere and their service is excellent.Food is also good and the complementary breakfast is nice.It is very calm and nice play to stay.We all enjoyed the whole two days.Next time if we go we will definitely stay here and i will recommend this to my friends.Good Experience.

We family of 3 people went to kodai on Aug12 and stayed at yaggappa resort for 3 days. Reception people are very kind and responsive. Room allotted are cleaned and neat. There is a small play ground and playing equipments are available for kids at one corner of the resort.Also swing available at other-side of the resort Compliment break fast has limited to 2/3 items , whatever they provided quality is good. Overall its a good experience.

Nice location and near to Coaker Walk and Byrant park. Suite room didnot have open /balcony view. Restaurant menu and room service need to improve. Room need to have electric kettle for hot water source. Breakfast menu is very limited and will not suit North Indians eating habits. Tea and Coffee Quality need to improve a lot. Manager Mr.Krishna is very nice gentlemen and very supportive.

Two of our friends have recommended us the Yagappa resort for staying. Have said us the service quality is very good. Even we have noticed the same. Resort have constants in maintaining cleanliness and provides us the good nature feeling. free wi fi facility is available for all customers... but signal range available@ reception areas.... Good car parking facilities..... Good guidance

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are neat and clean. Walkable distance to Coaker's walk, Lake, Bus stand, Bryant park. Though hot drinking water is provided in flaks to the rooms, and always available in the dispensers (outside the rooms), providing an electric kettle in the rooms may add value. Providing a hair dryer also will help. Overall, worth for the money.

This hotel is located right next to the bus Stand. it's a well maintained one however I see two issues here: 1) Geyser is not available in room and so you have to wait long to get hot water, at times, half an hour 2) Breakfast timing is 8.30-9.30 which should be changed so that people checking out early can have breakfast Otherwise it's good to go

A very good option at Kodaikanal. Just 1minute from Braynt Park & Coaker's Walk. A short descent to the Lake and 2 minutes to the bus station. Best food in my trip to Tamil Nadu. The photos are of the Family Suite with 2 rooms with individual TV sets and all basic amenities. Lots of space and playing option for kids. In summary: Wonderful.

Good things: 1. Clean room 2. Near to coakers walk, Lake and bryant park 3. Ample car parking Bad Things: 1. Some of the plug points are not working. 2. Breakfast not tasty in my opinion. But they are providing home made foods 5. Room lights are not at all visible. Conclusion: Not worth for the money. Decent Hotel

Nice hotel friendly staf at front desk ..early check jn available if prior information is gvn subject to availability..disadvantage is old age people cannot walk upwards due to its steep ..rest all was fien located near busstand ,crockers walk and other places ..complimentary break fast was good ..thankyou ...

Yagappa Heritage Resort is at a good location. Nearby Croaker's walk , lake and beyrant park. It's at about 10 min walk from the bus stop and main bazaar. The staff is also sincere.Food options for dinner were very minimal. But service was good. You can get a valley view and they too have swings on a terrace.

Very compact rooms with all facilities. Good view from balcony and no noise from surroundings. walkable distance to Coakers walk and Bryant park & Bus stand. Complimentary Breakfast served with taste and delicious with few spreads. Good to stay here with families. Kids are is additional attractive.

1)had a great stay. comfortable room. 2)excellent service, appreciate it. nice view from resort play area. ( note : not from room). 3)kids will enjoy a lot. 4)good food. 5)only thing is they don't provide room warmer as an default, instead they charge 500 per day, apart from room charge .

Yagappa Heritage resort is close to Cokkers walk. The lake and Bryant Park is within walking distance. The location is great. The rooms are spacious and neat. There is adequate parking space. Play area and leisure area are available in the resort. The staff are courteous and helpful.

The Rooms and bathroom were clean, the look of the room were Excellent, but the bedsheet and pillow cover were not clean. 24/7 Hot water service is there for certain room, other room uses boilers for hot water, need to call them for switching it on...Overall Satisfied....

Rooms were decent. We checked in late evening but still managed to get bonfire by paying extra. The fun part was the bonfire in chilling night. The view from the room was good. Breakfast provided had only less option. Overall experience was pleasant.

Wonderful place with perfect price, location is near by coackers waker. Nice service & big car parking. only lowlight is road from coacker walk to resort 50 meters is very steep , might be tough to walk for old ppl. & toufgh for new drivers is slope

value for money and genuine, compact rooms but well maintained, breakfast and dinner served in hotel for lunch u have to look outside, foods are available at reasonable price, chicken pepper masala was excellent. u have adequate play area and lawn
