it was very lovely stay as staff was very cooperative n caring n beside I had taken a ganges view room which was nice to view sitting on the bed n they have a small garden downstairs overlooking river ganges where u can sit in the morning n munch or have sun bath n at night breath in the fresh cold air n their were lot of foreigners staying there, so more or less it was a happening place throughout the day n few I saw doing yoga in the garden. And they have a restaurant on the top floor overlooking river ganges n in the restaurant they have small library for reading books but I can't tell about the food as I used to drink only masala tea there n about the amenities it's ok n service very good, so altogether it was my best experience so far staying n exploring the place. And people with their family can also go there as tariff is ok .

The stay at shalom Backpackers Rishikesh was an extraordinary experience for me as it was my first solo trip outside my home state and the guys at shalom made it cherry on top... The view of Ganga river from shalom is just breathtaking, one can hear the beautiful sound of river flowing downside the hostel... The beds were comfy and the 24/7 hot water in bathroom gives the most needed relaxation after a tired day of roaming in the streets of rishikesh. There is no single thing to dislike at this budget hostel, as a solo traveler one should be ready to live a minimalistic life with minimal things in a room and should enjoy alone time at this beautiful place located at close vicinity to laxman Jhula nd street shopping market. The view lets u forget small dislikable things and just enjoy the sound of river ganga

As my first solo trip out of my home city, I chose Rishikesh and shalom Backpackers was my first choice to go to as It was in my budget and also in close vicinity to laxman Jhula nd street shopping market.. And when I went over there I was amazed by the view of river Ganga and the sound that I could hear all night long in my room, it was just peaceful enough to forget my worries and blend into the lifestyle of rishikesh. As a solo traveler this is the best choice one could go to as It is a budget hostel and one can easily fit in the environment and the staff is very friendly and beds are just comfy enough to get a good night sleep and the hot water running 24/7 is just what u need when u come back after a long day of roaming in the streets of rishikesh.

The view from the room and the cafe is amazing! Service is good too. The ganges view room has an A/C and hot water. Other amenities are just basic, and that's fine since it is a hostel and not a hotel. The property also has a hot tub. The only thing that irked me is that the check-in process is completely digital, and so is the restaurant menu and payment. However, they have no card or auto lock system. They provided us with small a lock and key for private room only, and there is no lock for dorm rooms. They really should consider it as many people go on staycation and carry expensive laptops and there are females staying in the rooms.

Had an amazing experience at Shalom backpackers. Hostel was clean and near Laxman Jhula. Market is also just outside the hostel so everything is easily accessible. The rooms were clean. The hostel is situated next to Ganga river an gives an amazing view. The area is safe. i didn't had any issues travelling solo. As a solo traveller, i had an amazing experience. I didn't had any difficulties finding the hostel. Everyone was quite friendly. I took the dorm room, made new friends. People are helpful and safety is guaranteed. Food was amazing. Recommended for people who wants to getaway for a couple of days and enjoy a little workation.

It was a very good property like the view the staff the cafe and the taste. I travelled solo but I didn't feel like I am travelling solo, there I made 4 more friends who are also travelling solo. I will just stay to experience the best stay you have to visit this place and the most friendly and chill out the person you will find there is Himanshu he is the manager there he has the night shift but you will have the best minutes with him. As a solo traveller i like to explore places make new friends and find some fun and peace.✌️

it was an amazing experience, cordially received by the receptionist, had a pleasant stay, the view of the Ganges was amazing and had a nice feel, there is a restaurant inside which itself is very good, there's a small pool also the location is very good. the only drawback I would say is there was no AC in the room which was a letdown .the arts and paintings all over the place are colorful and vivid air-conditioning was not there and the distance to main road.

What a great place to stay and bond and get to know so many cool people. The staff was amazing as well. Vicky.. bro you rock!! The cafe is lit. The common area is beyond awesome. Just one thing, call and confirm before you go to check in because I booked a dorm but due to some mix up there were none available, so I had to stay in a private room, which was not bad but I wanted a dorm, so yeah. Anyways, it is a great place and really happening.

Shalom Backpackers Rishikesh | Rooms & Dorms provides a great views of the Ganga river and the beach near Laxman Julla. One can sit and thoroughly enjoy the ambience and gushing Ganges. It is affordable for solo travellers and close to other popular sites like Ram Julla, hardly 1 km away and Triveni chat (15-20 mins).

Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The staff was wonderful. Shalom Backpackers Rishikesh | Rooms & Dorms is well maintained.The best stay ever. Environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. Highly recommended hotel.

It was a privet room where we stayed and there was a restaurant available at Shalom Backpackers Rishikesh | Rooms & Dorms but didn't try food there. Free wifi was a plus point and parking space was there. Overall the property is nicely located just walking distance away from the Laxman Jhula.

The most helpful staff. Yash and Pawan are so warm and welcoming that they would feel like brothers. They make sure that the girls are comfortable. With very rightful, but small restrictions in a few places, this place is like a party club. The views of the ganges are scenic and pristine.

great food, great stay at great price, knowledgeable staff, Ganges view, clean beds, recommended location around laxman jhula, parking is available nearby Wifi connectivity was good as I had to work from home which turned to work from vacation.

View of Ganga from Hostel is amazing. seating n hangout area is also too good. Food at the restaurant is also good n in budget. The garden area is good place to make new friends n also to spend time alone watching the amazing view of Ganga.

perfectly located. near the laxman jhula. easily accessible. good staff and polite. go for 4 bed dorm and not 6 bed dorm as they are much better. A staff named Pawan and even others were very helpful. even the owner was polite.

our stay at Shalom was really good. The location was amazing, very close to Laksham jhoola and with a great riverside view. Also, the host were really nice people. The stay was also comfortable. View and comfort.

Very nice place to stay. Front office guys were super helpful in planning my trip and organising the trek and rafting. Didn't get time to try food at cafe, however the look and feel was awesome :)

Quite a good place , rooms are tiny but clean. they'll charge excess amount for rafting so find it from locals, breakfast was delicious. good ambience, wifi was weak can meet new people, calmness
