The LaLiT New Delhi

The Lalit is the best hotel I ve visited till date! I am a hotel enthusiast and I have visited more than 2 dozen till now but The Lalit was beyond them all. Everything is so beautiful and the staff is so courteous and helpful. They did such a nice thing for us despite of us not telling them its my hubby's bday, they kept a cute little bday cake in our room when we were out. They had me for life at this gesture! The breakfast was really delicious and full of options. They have nice restaurants to choose from and great offers. The toiletries are amazing and the in room facilities are also good. There is no room to complain about anything. Just one thing that irked us was the taste of water other than the usual Bisleri water. But The LaLiT New Delhi staff was kind and sweet to provide us Bisleri during the breakfast as well which they do not normally do. But i think the taste of water is not their problem, its for MCD to take care of. I loved The LaLiT New Delhi and will recommend it to everyone! And plus it is so so close to CP that we walked there most of the time. Must try! 5 stars!

We booked The LaLiT New Delhi ..but after reaching The LaLiT New Delhi they asked if we would like to deposit more money or credit card, we said no. So they said they will have to remove the mini bar. Which we didn't mind but just within 2 minutes after entering the room there was a person knocking our door to empty the bar. Also at reception, we asked for smoking room which the guy at reception said is unavailable. We insisted for smoking room only. He asked us to upgrade our deal and pay extra. We denied. After sometime he said that there is a room on 24th floor which he can give us. That means it's The LaLiT New Delhi strategy to pull more money from customers . Gym and pool is good. This place doesn't give you royal feel to charge so much for everything. Breakfast was average as compared to other big hotel chain. They didn't have much options and most of the food was cold. Overall, Hotel location is good and the ambience is also good. Service is quick but if you have to order anything think twice. Too expensive. Even for extra empty wine glass they charge Rs 500.

This is centrally located hotel in the heart of Delhi yet very calm.This is a huge property. Check in & Check out process is usually tiresome.Front desk people need to be trained professional with complete information about The LaLiT New Delhi.Even with regular guests the process is hectic and people need to be at par with international standards. Rooms are very good and well kept.Bathroom too is very good and neat. All staffs in the restaurant are very good and responsive with smiling face willing to help you but room service is not up to the mark . They have a nice fitness centre and spa and trainers are good and recognize regular customers. Spread of their buffet breakfast is excellent and the taste too is good. The only place they need to improve is Front Desk operations. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this hotel to others Worth Staying.

If you are looking at a comfortable stay in the heart fo the city then this is your go to place. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained, however, during night you would feel that the light in the room in low but it can be compensated by the beautifully illuminated city view. No mechanism to switch off the lamp located right above the bed. The TV offers only few channels, no Tata sky or set top box used by The LaLiT New Delhi. Regarding food, The LaLiT New Delhi buffet breakfast and lunch offers plethora of cuisines to chose from but if you are looking forward to room service the price of food is exorbitant. a simple Thai curry and rice costs around INR 3000. Hotel should look forward to offer executive meals in decent price bracket. Gym, pool is really amazing, equipped with latest machines and amenities.

The Lalit needs to upgrade itself to attract the new generation crowd. They have location as advantage and a closest to Connaught place, Bengali market etc. Room need to be upgraded with modern furnishings, carpets in common areas are so old, we can see ages old dirt. I tried calling them to place a request and inform on late check in, neither The LaLiT New Delhi manager nor reservation picked up calls. Only sales pick up calls but they are helpless or do not pass information for a call back. Rest maintenance service is good. We tried 24/7 restaurant and it service was average. Revamp.. revamp.. revamp!!!

It was such a peaceful place to stay staff were super friendly with me. the food was delicious and as it was near to the Rajiv Chowk it was easy for me to travel to different shops and go around places even via walking as the place is always crowded so no fear to walk alone as a student that was a great thing. My overall stay was safe peaceful and memorable. The staff never treated me in a certain way that could have made me feel I was travelling alone or I was a student. They used to guide me to where to go to explore places and also looked after my safety if I got late in coming to The LaLiT New Delhi.

The place is worth a visit.. it's extraordinary hospitality and amazing infrastructure will give you an amazing luxuruoius comfort. The complimentary breakfast is supperr with hundreds of varieties from different cuisines around the world. It has a great swimming pool with exclusive views and services. The best part is the nightclub Kittysu, which is the best in NCR! And if ur a guest at The LaLiT New Delhi, couple entry is complimentary if u check in before 10:30pm. I loved my stay and would recommend it to all who need a break off their hectic schedules.. :)

Had many doubts while booking this Hotel as reviews was not great. But my experience was excellent, especially lovely food and good room service. The Lalit located quite well location, easy to access irrespective of any location. I will strongly recommend my friends and family for visiting this Hotel. The Lalit is a good hotel and is located in the heart of the city. The rooms are nice but not as modern as the new hotels in town. The pool is good because it is temperature controlled. On the whole is a decent five star hotel but below the other top brands. The major led down here is internet. They only give 1 hour worth of internet for free and after that you have to pay. This is disappointing in today's date and age. The price of food (in room dining) is on the higher side.

The stay was nice and comfortable. I have got an early check-in. Location of The LaLiT New Delhi is excellent. Shopping streets and Center Delhi is very close by. Visiting old delhi which is also a business hub and a travel place is also nearby. Overall experience of staying in Lalit Delhi was nice. Hotel staff is also very much friendly. I ll surly recommend this hotel for your delhi stay. Ps: little improvement and additions req in the morning breakfast menu.

Everything was great about The LaLiT New Delhi. Just that they had a lot of activities (conferences) and the main lobby wasn't available to The LaLiT New Delhi guests. The lobby and the main entrance were always crowded with people and vehicles respectively. The Wifi in conference rooms and in the lobby wasn't all that great. But for these glitches, the overall experience in The LaLiT New Delhi and the attitude of the staff was amazing.

Very good hotel with very nice hospitality, courteous staff everyone starting any conversation with a 'namaskar' which is shows Indian Hospitality and Tradition at its best. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends who love staying in 5 star hotels. Very good hospitality, high level security, good clean rooms, variety of rooms and vide range of breakfast and dinner options in their buffet. Truly 5 star property with 5 star facilities

Hotel is great..but takes money for every thing. Famous Disco is there..which is chargeable for the customers..Disappointing. Security Deposite of Rs. **********  /- is asked..wow. (Must be a 7 or 8 star) this surprises alot. Free wifi for an hour only after than Rs. ****/- per hour. location is nice, facilities are nice, price is too high. other than this..all othet services are great..recommend this hotel to all others.

Amazing place. Lobby was grand n beautifully decorated for Diwali. It has an old place charm with modern facilities like gym, swimming pool, card entry etc. Breakfast spread was extensive and tasty. We got an upgrade to premium so had 2 queen beds for 4 of us. View from the room was great. My kids just loved the place. They swam n ran all over the place, the bullet see thru lift, art gallery was too good

Hotel is well located and close to Connaught place. However it was extremely crowded and they were unable to cope at breakfast buffet. It is the only hotel where I saw a queue for breakfast buffet. Absolutely no service at breakfast as the staff was unable to cope. Rooms are a bit old now. Also The LaLiT New Delhi felt really impersonal and kind of cold. Primarily stayed there because of hotels location

Excellent service and beautiful hotel. Lobby service very friendly. Upstairs restauraunt had really good food. It is walking distance from shopping places. Only on thing I did not like: I ordered taxi to airport from hotel and it cheated me. Suddenly taximeter jumped up by 300 INR on the way and we end up paying more than double compared to Uber etc. I hope staff will use only thrusted taxi drivers.

I was on business tour, require tv in room, but every time there was only success story of Mr. Lalit, I really motivated by it but not able to see anything than this was little disappointing, how many time you can see same thing no other channel was available,with all respect to Mr. Lalit we requeste Hotel to make available other tv channel. Otherwise it was very good experience with Hotel
