The Resort Mumbai

I would like highlight the best part about the resort 1. Fantastic location - it is just opening into Serene and clean Aksa beach. 2. Hygenic and peaceful surrounding - this makes it perfect for your holiday with spouse, family, friends..etc 3. Very courteous staff - they were really helpful with everything we needed during our stay. This add good mood to the holiday and you can enjoy it more 4. Awesome tasty food - The food taste was very nice and I would recommend that anyone stays here should not miss the breakfast. the breakfast menu is extensive and food variety is just superb. we literally spent about an hour having breakfast.. I am sure we over ate as we dint want to miss anything 5. well guarded - you would definitely find some hotel staff to assist you anywhere throughout the resort. This helps families to enjoy freely without any scare 6. lot of open spaces for groups to just chill and have a gala time, play group games, chitchat etc. 7. Neat n clean rooms with prompt and fast room service. now about the things which can be improved 1. The food here is very costly. Although the variety and taste is good but I guess pricing could be bit reduced 2. Some equipments like resting chairs etc needs repairing. I guess this can be easily done without much hassle.. it will really help guests to have best of their time 3. Probably some indoor games like chess carrom tt or some card games.. Not every season is such that guests can go out in open and play I personally had a very good time.

The room was cool, clean and visually appealing with pleasant lighting and nicely designed interiors. The balcony gave way to a wide and clear view of the pool and Aksa beach, hence recommend top floor rooms. Lunch and Dinner Buffets were loaded with palatable choices and offers. Although not great foodies, we had a great time pampering our taste buds. Swapnil and Chef Sandeep were courteous enough to give us personalized attention. On the other hand, there are a few improvements and suggestions that we would like to see implemented. - Due to the moisture build up on the floor, a lack of a floor mat made it very difficult to walk on the slippery surface. - After a bath, the bathroom glass (facing into the room) had water leakage which made the bed floor wet. - Installation of fan is recommended. Times when we felt the chill of the AC, we had to change the temperature. Soon this made the room warmer and stuffy. Changing the AC temperature often became quite a task especially during the night. Overall - Good rooms, helpful staff and excellent food. Can do with a few improvements. Looking forward to visiting The Resort, Mumbai... again for a longer holiday.

Its a perfect destination for Mumbaites Who dont want to spend time on travel still get out of Mumbai rush. This time being Diwali weekend it was a bit crowded. And I think they skipped the test tube welcome drink so. I have stayed in past in the Deluxe rooms, And it has always been nice experience to have the view from Balcony. Its like Priceless moments. Its pool, garden and play area were best enjoyed with kids. when you are fulfilled with the resort amenities, you can savour the Beach walk and sea breeze. The food is a bit overpriced but tasty. One thing I found uncomfortable was the two single mattresses on the king size double bed, It was as uncomfortable for couple only guests as much to couple with kid. Waking up to the view of Arabian sea is amazing experience.. The Breakfast had a nice spread with varieties of cookies and muffins along with the usual Idli, Chhole Bhature, Upma, Dosa, Cereals, Juices and cut fruits etc. Fish Koliwada, chicken salami, pork salami too were there. As always its memorable weekend staying in the Resort.

Since I visit this place frequently I would like to mention that they have improved their room service from 0-100. Earlier the room service was not upto the mark. We had to wait for an hour just for a water bottle. But now they are par excellence. the room service is so quick that we couldn't believe it. coming down to other aspects their customer service is excellent. I mean from the main entrance till we check in and from the checkout till the main entrance I always see a smile on every employee's face. thr location is fab I mean beat the heat in swimming pool and then chill at the garden area with a fantastic see view or sit in ur balcony and enjoy the view. this place has not left a single thing that I can point in their direction. everything is just perfect. although I would suggest them that its high time they change the menu of their breakfast and dinner. It has been the same since a year now. I am happy with this place and will keep coming back as this is the only place where I feel stress free.

I had stayed earlier itself in THE RESORT but this time it was different. I happened to stay with my group and we booked in 6rooms. From start to end, each and every staff member that we came across was ever ready to assist us to our comfort. We received rooms on different floors and hence the reaching to other rooms was stressful. But, that isn't to be complained much about as the rooms are very spacious, clean and the amenities provided are perfect. What I liked most is something that I didnt notice earlier about. THE RESORT security members actually make you feel secure. Even if you access the beach, the security keeps an eye on you to be away from harms way. The restaurant staff were very decent and they served us well to our satisfaction and provided personal attention to our needs. SWAPNIL AND MALAI are to be applauded for the same. My family members and friends are really very happy for the trip and they wish to stay for more days in coming future. Looking forward to more visits in THE RESORT.

It was about a month ago that Goibibo was offering about 50% discount on hotel rates, when I saw The Resort to be cheaper than many other 4-star hotels also. Being a 5-star hotel, I was surprised and immediately booked it off for my travel in July. As I had heard about The Resort Mumbai, it was true to the core. I was quite lucky to be greeted by the Mumbai monsoon right from the time of stepping foot and the Resort made it even more memorable. Standard Rooms are so spacious that you wouldn't want to look for Delux. :-) The Buffet Breakfast was a lovely combo of Indian and Continental and the sea/pool view made it kind of romantic too. The bed was cosy and since I had the corner room so got a partial view of the sea too. The swimming pool was a nice place to relax by the morning and a walk down the beach area right in front of hotel was the cherry on the cake. Cant write more... You need to experience a stay at THE RESORT to get the feel.

The Resort Mumbai was awesome..went in off season time so it was very peaceful ..beautiful..the beach was right at walking distance..the staff was very good ..very nicely welcomed n helped..got the newly renovated standard room..it was very well made..loved it..n the bathroom also v nice..good huge rain shower...btw do carry your own toothbrush n toothpaste..rest they do provide shampoo towel etc..breakfast was very good as well..good variety and beautiful hotel ambience...really nice for a peaceful getaway... they said they re currently(sept2014) renovating 3 n 4 floor ..so do make sure to ask for the new rooms only drawback the exterior of the place looked very old n wore down..but i guess they will be updating that also soon and yea no food anywhere nearby..its very isolated place..so either eat The Resort Mumbai food or carry some munchies or travel to the city about 10kms away..overall lovely holiday...thanks goibibo

The resort is a quick getaway from the chaotic city without actually getting away much. unfortunately the sea facing rooms that everyone raves about were booked so we checked into the garden-facing room... which actually has no real view. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The room service was extremely slow because the resort was packed for diwali. Lots of waiting for the buffet dinner at The Resort Mumbai, so we eventually landed up calling for room service. The food is very good, quantity is good, but is quite expensive. The property location is awesome with a clean and huge pool and quick access to the beach. There are fun activities and ample swings for children to play. The spa is again quite expensive so gave it a miss. The breakfast spread is lavish and tasty. Will definitely visit again but not on a crowded weekend. Will look for a off day to visit and enjoy some peace that the place can surely offer.

During my visit to Mumbai i decided to plan a 2D/1N stay at The Resort, mumbai. The property is really good with an amazing view of the beach and Sunset. though its under renovation. Swift checkin: At the time of checkin was greeted and attended by Mr. Kaldeep with his sweet and cute smile. On a request he gave me room on the 6th floor. Not only that, even throughout the day whenever we passed him he use to come and say Hi and ask if we are comfortable and need some thing. Thanks Kuldeep.  Food: Dinner Buffet was really good. Good verity with spreads across options. Mr. Barun greeted and treated us like a family guest. Infact he was attending all the guest so pleasantly. I was really impressed by him and his team. More then food it was the entire atmosphere and comfort which gave us feel VViP :) Thanks Barun. Lets see whats in today..

It was a great experience at The Resort. Rooms are clean & nicely maintained. Pool is beautiful & park area is also good. We stayed in a Deluxe room. All Deluxe rooms are pool & beach facing. Thus, you can feel the cool breeze at balcony. If you are lucky enough, you can catch sunset from your balcony which could be a beautiful experience. You have a direct access to Aksa beach via Resort & is secured. Pool has specific opening timings for weekdays & weekends. Food in the resort is also good, but bit costly. Only issue I faced was there was a constant irritating noise of air flow as a small gap was there even after closing the balcony gate. Otherwise, great experience. Good place within Mumbai to freshen-up from the hustle-bustle of Mumbai life. Mentally you feel far away from Mumbai & that's really grt.

The Resorts is an awesome hotel and it is right on the Aksa beach. I have spent 1 day there and I would recommend everybody who wants to relax and feel like they are surrounded by natural beauty. Ground Staff of The Resort Mumbai is very nice and helpful.Food is awesome and even restaurant staff is very nice. They will advise you many things that you can have and they would not irritate if you call them 100 times ..just joking :) . My 1 and 1/2 year daughter enjoyed very much since there were lots of toys and she was like she got everything. I had awesome stay with my family and will for sure come next year in nov / 2015 for a week. The only suggestion I want to give to General Manager of this hotel that people who are sitting at reception needs to more smiling and humble.

Had stayed here 2 nts for our Anniversary celebration. Had an awesome tym .Though in midst of city one feels out of city.The ambience is vry good..Its tranquility is the most rewarding. Total stress buster.Utmost care is taken as very small things are taken care of .Services very prompt.Rooms are spacious .Breakfast was average , needs improvement on taste for eg , the baked beans were served just from the tin without adding anythg making it very sweet; the masala uttapam when specially ordered to make them crisp was partly cooked & served half raw but these things can be easily improvedThe lunch n dinner spread were quite good included lots of variety , though expensive.Location is gr8 ;beach acess within the resort. Overall a very nice property..Will definitely come again.

Over all hotel is very good. Food is very expensive, so no body wants to eat there, all guests were buying food from outside. Hotel management must think over it. Must reduce the food rates to facilitate guests and popularise The Resort Mumbai more, kitchen will be more busy and guests number will be increased. All were excited to be on beach shore, all greenery and pool in The Resort Mumbai. The only bad thing was, somebody tried to open my room at 3.00 in the night, when confirmed from reception, he was security person checking room. I was scared, it should not happen with any one in future. Suppose you are sleeping in The Resort Mumbai, and someone start trying to open your room?? I would like to stay again with my family and hope better facilities would be provided.

the experience was very good at the resort. the staff was very courteous..starting from the guards at the entrance. the person who carried our luggage from car to the room was very polite and comfortable in English. the lobby manager who checked us in was also very polite and active. the room was very clean and it seemed very fresh and comfortable. when we went to the beach it suddenly started raining...the guard proactively approached us with umbrella and saved us from rain...the swimming pool was good but we did not have swimming costumes. the resort provided us with swimming costumes on rent which was a really good thing and we loved it. the service staff was quick and efficient in serving food be it at the room or the pool. over all it was nice and great experience.

Visited this place on a thursday for a overnight and was surprised to see quite a few guests. The property is nice and clean. The rooms are well designed and equipped. Got interconnecting rooms as had requested for accompaning parents. Direct access to the beach is a boon. Swimming pool is clean with floats and balls provided by hotel if needed. Ladies can enjoy the pool withouth been looked at. Kids have enough activity,garden,slides,swings to be kept busy. Restaurant menu is overpriced though if you have own transport malad is just 6km. restaurants nearby are not that great for families. Carry drinking water as mineral water is priced at 200/-. A nice place for a quick break from the city.

Check-in process was done very smoothly and they didn't charged any extra for it. Room were maintained very well and it was very clean. Breakfast spread was limited but it was very delicious. The food price over there is very high, beyond the expectations of a normal man, but again taste was very good. The staff were well behaved and very helpful. Except, food price, everything is very well maintained and had a wonderful stay. The nature in which The Resort Mumbai is located. Lot of privacy we get and property is very well maintained. Dani Pani is the place you can look for, but in the early morning. Other than that don't go anywhere spend time in The Resort Mumbai itself.

I went there for a weekend getaway. Firstly I had to wait 1 hour for Check-in as they had misplaced the voucher received from goibibo regarding my booking confirmation. Resort was good, beautifully decorated. But room service was pathetically poor. Had asked for 2 wine glasses at 9 pm but didnt received for next 3 hours. Had followed up thrice still no outcome. Also there was 1 Mr Jignesh whom i wanted to contact about some query, they will make you wait for long time and then will rush away quickly. No courtesy for customers. BreakFast was good and nicely served. Although it was bit crowdy due to Diwali time. But still worth the penny. Especially good for family time.

Location of The Resort Mumbai is very well planned. I liked the amenities and cleanliness the most. Staff was also courteous and helpful. The food however was not as expected. The breakfast which we ordered in the room arrived after 45 minutes and was not warm at all. The options in the menu are very limited. The idli, dosa, toast bread everything was absolutely cold and quality was average. This was the only thing which was a turn off. Also, i believe they should have more options in the vegetarian menu for other meals as well. The ocean view room was absolutely clean and spacious. The precautions pertaining to sanitization due to Covid-19 are highly appreciated.

The property is above my expectations. I have experienced state-of-the-art infrastructure. Best point is Sun-Rise & Set from The Resort Mumbai's any corner. It was awesome really. Swimming pool is also nicely managed and clean water with accurate amount of chlorine. Food was really good, also they served extra demanded quickly. Room service responded within 10-15 mins after request. Surrounding is very beautiful. All staff members are soft, quick in action and much caring. Specially the security staff and luggage attendants. It's totally value for your money you gonna spend. I must appreciate cleanliness of the entire property.

Hi, I stayed in the Resort with my family for one night, it was very nice, Rooms were very nice, big, Balcony view is awesome, Kids playing area and pool side area is great attraction. It made our mumbai trip memorable. Staff is nice and the food is expensive but worth. Overall experience was awesome. I will prefer this hotel for newly married/families as the resort is to find some memorable moments out of their busy schedule. One thing It is very far away form the city so prefer this hotel for staying and relaxing only not for sightseeing the other mumbai location as you will be caught in traffic.. Thanks, Dev
