Vacation Inn

We stayed in Vacation Inn for 3nights. Vacation Inn is walking distance around 200meters to Sri Harmandir Sahib ji or Golden Temple's Langar Hall. There is no parking facility provided in Vacation Inn and also it's not easy to drive your vehicle to reach hotel in day time for dropping or picking up your luggage as street to hotel is narrow in size. While Saragrahi Multi level car parking is around 300meters to hotel where you can easily park your vehicle so parking is not an issue. We had booked Super Deluxe Room with Breakfast. We checked in late night and room given on that day was not up to the mark as per facilities provided while next day on request the owner / manager of Vacation Inn changed the room which was quite good and with all the facilities. Washroom was clean with all basic facilities. In breakfast we ordered Gobhi and Aaloo paranthas with curd which were quite delicious in taste. We ordered dinner two times and evening snacks one time during our stay. Dinner and snacks were also quite good in taste. Common area or restaurant is well managed and clean. On 4th floor which is terrace or restaurant floor you can see the back side view of beautiful Sri Harmandir Sahib ji. Hotel staff was quite cooperative and friendly. We enjoyed our stay in Vacation inn. Overall it is a family hotel worth to stay in.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall pleasant experience, but unfortunately, I did encounter a problem with the shower in my room. Vacation Inn itself was beautiful and well-maintained. The staff were also friendly and attentive, always greeting me with a smile and offering assistance when needed. However, the shower in my room was a different story. Despite adjusting the temperature and pressure, the water seemed to alternate between scalding hot and freezing cold, making for an uncomfortable and unpleasant showering experience. Additionally, the water pressure was quite weak, making it difficult to rinse off soap and shampoo. I brought this issue to the attention of Vacation Inn staff, who were apologetic and promised to send maintenance to look into the problem. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved during my stay, and I was forced to endure uncomfortable showers throughout my trip. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but the issue with the shower was a significant inconvenience. I hope that Vacation Inn will address this problem promptly to ensure that future guests have a more comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Ratings should be given based on value for money and the comfort provided. This hotel's biggest USP is probably the fact that it is the best hotel that can be found very close to the Golden temple at a reasonable price point. There may be cheaper hotels but you would be compromising on comfort. Similarly, there may be bigger and better hotels but like us, if your objective is to spend a comfortable night and be out the rest of the day, this hotel delivers. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. AC is good. Reception and staff are helpful and responsive. It is just a 5 minute walk to the Temple. They helped us with booking an Innova for a trip to the border at a good price. Even provided an extra bed in the last minute as we had an extra member in our group. Allowed us to safely store our luggage when we went for our day visit after check-out. These are all basic needs but goes a long way in delighting the guests. Will surely recommend to family and friends. Good job!

Vacation Inn is at a great location Near jallianwala bagh corner area. Easy to locate on a map. No Car parking option, if you want 12 hrs INR 100/day. INR100/ Night, Better to park in Saragarhi or kesri Parking , which is gurudwara parking 12 hrs INR 35. The owner is a kind and generous guy Mr.Sahil., Ready to help and support. The rooms are quite big , Go for Super deluxe (Market view) ,. The bathroom is good just the drain pipes are bit clogged to water goes down slow . AC are centralised and operational. Room Services are slow after 11 pm due to less management. Rooms are clean, Spacious, wardrobe space, water is complimentary. . Lift option is available#Jallianwala bagh is 2 mins of walking.#Golden temple is 3 mins walking.#Saragarhi Car Paking is 6 mins walking. Great location.Overall a satisfactory(4/5*) stay at the property. It's good if you are with family , Safe & secured area.

New hotel, just 6 months old. Friendly staff, just few minutes walk to the Golden Temple and Jalan Wala bhag. The double bed room will be OK for 2 adults and 1 small kid. Small and neat rooms, neat toilets and ultra hot shower. Currently no restaurant is there, but one is getting ready and might open in a month. No worries about the food, there are many restaurants near by, there is famous kulache shop called Kulvan Singh Kulche near the temple. Note - Big vehicles like tempo traveller can't enter this area, we need to use an auto to get to the parking.

Good hotel at good location.. near to market, Jalianwala bagh and temple and the famous dhabas. Recently renovated hence everything is perfectly clean. Booked 2 rooms and both were clean n good. Hotel was fully booked when we checked in (early check in), they still managed to get us one room so that we can freshen up and didn't charge extra. We didn't try room service so no comment on that. I would totally recommend this hotel for your Amritsar stay.

Nice hotel for reasonable price. Clean rooms and clean bathrooms. 5mins walking distance from Golden temple. Cafeteria looks beautiful. But the price of menu items is little expensive compared to the dhabas in the locality. One problem I faced is the cabs don't want to drop us infront of Vacation Inn as the lanes are too narrow and traffic is high. Cab dropped us in the municipality parking area and we had to take the erickshaw to Vacation Inn.

TALKING ABOUT Vacation Inn, THE LOCATION IS PERFECT. GOLDEN TEMPLE JUST IN A WALKING DISTANCE . JALIANWALA BAGH ALSO AT WALKING DISTANCE. THE ROOMS AND FACILITIES INSIDE THE ROOM WERE GOOD. ONLY THE SERVICE OF Vacation Inn WAS DISAPPOINTING. DELAY IN CLEANING, DIRTY GLASSES YOU NEED TO CALL RECEPTION ATLEAST 2-3 TIMES IF YOU NEED SOMETHING. IF THEY IMPROVE THEIR SERVICE , I WOULD DEFINITELY VISIT AGAIN ALSO WILL RECOMMEND OTHERS TOO...

Very Good Hotel, Good Location, very Good and friendly staff, one person in staff from other state he is too Good person, and all facility in this hotel, Mirror in Vacation Inn is Too Good, outside location from room is also Good, no charges of mineral water in this hotel, and tea maker sugar tea etc. is available without any cost, No time khrab in reception bs id do or osse time aapko room mil jatta hai nd no any issu off late cheack out

It was a pleasent stay at Vacation Inn. Hardly 2 min walk for Golden temple langar hall gate. this is nice and comfirtable property. Rooms and washroom are clean. you will get plenty of food outlet option just outside Vacation Inn. Easly approachable thru e rickshaw,auto rickshaw or cab. Space of normal room is ok for two person and a kid but if you are more opt for the premium room which is bigger in size.

Gud service .awesome experince . M train was at 5 PM . I check out at 11am then after visiting place I got 3 hour and I went to Vacation Inn and asked the person that can I a get an extra room just to stay for 2 hour and m ready to pat some nominal amount but they have given me a room to stay for me . Hotel best thing is the location of Vacation Inn . Walkingf distance jallianwalla bagah and golden temple .

hotel is very very nice. location is very close to temple. Rooms are neat and clean. Staffs are very helpful, friendly and cooperative. Great amenities and service. Restaurant is too good. Delicious food with good ambiance as well. only problem we faced was with AC as it is centralised AC all over, no remote to control the temperature. we had to call them everytime to reduce the AC level.

value of the money . complete staff are very supportive . they fulfill are requirements as per hotel policy . rooms are very neat and clean. all equipment avl in hotels are in working . quality service , great experience I had . the service provided by them is similar to five star hotel properties . I would recommended to other for get experience of such hotel in very reasonable price .

Room was clean and staff was poliet.. Vacation Inn is located near to darbar sahib. only a thing disturbed me.. They provided me a Bisleri water bottle which was reused and the seal was open, so they might have used tap water to refill the bottle.. Also shared the picture. This is the only reason I gave 4 out of five stars. Otherwise this hotel is perfect to stay near Harmandir sahib.

Vacation Inn has a terrific location advantage. It lies on the back side of the golden temple (near Bhandara hall) and Jallianwala bagh. So, everything is at foots distance. Best way to reach from railway station is via auto. Their roof top restaurant is decorated in a very funky way and the food was good too. The staff is hospitable. Overall a good hotel to stay with family.

Vacation Inn was nice and rooms were good. The property is very near to Diwan sahib entry gate, just few metres far from there. There is a bit problm of power cut at nights. Vacation Inn do not have their own restaurant right now but you can order food and they ll arrange it from near by places. Our stay was comfortable and nice. Hotel room abd bathrooms were neat and clean.

Vacation Inn is near Langar hall of Harmandir Sahib, Decent 3* hotel with clean rooms hot water availability, water kettle, tea bags, lift availability. Restaurant service can't say we ordered something but it took too long to deliver so we cancelled. Best part is walkable distance from Golden Temple and market around Vacation Inn gives opportunity to explore with ease.

It was my 2nd time stay at Vacation Inn. It is just 1 min walk from both Langar gate and Main gate of Golden Temple. The rooms were clean, service was good. Deluxe room doesn't have windows. Window rooms were a little more expensive but had a good view of Golden Temple campus. Only down side that to change AC temperature, you need to call hotel staff. It was strange.

Vacation Inn is located about 10 minutes from the city centre. Do not let that put you off staying here. There is a auto stop located just outside Vacation Inn The room was spacious, with a large wardrobe, comfortable beds, large flat screen tv, a desk, drawers, luggage rack, heater and a mini bar. The bathroom had a large shower,

Best thing about Vacation Inn is that it is very close to Golden temple. although nothing great about the rooms; small sized and without windows as already stated in Vacation Inn description. It is difficult to locate a decent restaurant in the premises so we had food in Vacation Inn itself and it was better than expected. Thank you!
